In '04 he was playing w/ a torn rotator cuff. Soft sched? we had a soft sched this year, how did that work out? We didn't get killed by NE in the playoffs, that game was a TD game w/ abotu 5 mins to play. We were in it legitimately in the 4th qtr only down a score much of the 4th qtr. The game turned on a fluke play. Notice how you keep talking about the playoffs? You can't win in the playoffs if you don't get to the playoffs and whenever Chad is healthy he leads his team to the playoffs. The team he took this year would have won 6 games w/o him, he did a miracle job there this year. Miami's season has been an incredible success regardless what happened today.
Of course they do they do all the time but usually they have a run of great games in one or two playoffs if they get there mutiple times.
My favorite was...4th and 11 and he throws an 8 yard completion. Thanks chad - that was my fave when you were a Jet to!
I guess peyton Manning isn't great, he's had a ton of clunkers including a game where Chad badly outplayed him. I guess Favre isn't great, he has had a million bad playoff games. About the only guy who hasn't had an awful playoff game has been Tom Brady but Brady may well end up being the best of all time before he's done.
It turned on a fluke play? Chad was looking right at the D and threw a lateral right into it. He blew up the team on that fluke play and it turned the game into a wipe out.
Chad can't win the big game :lol:just wanted to see what it was like being on the other side of this. I defended Chad his whole time here. The Dolphins got to where they are this year with a bunch of trickery,which was very nessessary to disguise the weakness of their QB. i always liked Chad,He was one of my fav all time Jets,but the Dolphin fans next year will see what most here have been saying in his last few years as a jet.
I'd rather get there and take my chances. We never got beat badly in the playoffs. Even oak '02 was a 10-10 game very late in the 3rd qtr, we had chances to win in the 4th of every playoff game w/ Chad.
junc, Chad has done this against every top-notch defense he's faced in his career. I cannot recall one game in his career when Chad stepped up when a good defense took away the running game and dared him to beat them....
Well this one is over so his incredible season just ended with high hopes for phin fans like he always did with the JET fans. THIS IS ALL YOU WILL GET,,, And soon the FISH will do the same thing we did. Maybe not yet but they will.
The Goal is to win the SB. CHAD IS A ONE PLAYOFF GAME AND DONE QB! Today he is the Chad we all remember. When he plays against an elite defense in Dec his passer rating goes down and the interceptions go up. He is not capable of winning a superbowl. PERIOD, END OF STORY!!!!! That is why he ended up in Miami in the first place. Our Qb is on our bench or to be had via the draft! Ed Reed Read Chad like a book from cover to cover. How good is CHad's Iq in Dec against an elite defense that can take away the run and make him pass.
Yet, we never scored more than 17 points in regulation in a playoff game with Chad. Something tells me QB play wasn't what was keeping us in those games.
