Sort of right now. Possibly the Seahawks game. Maybe the Broncos game actually. Although I considered it during the Chiefs game, but he won in the end. Perhaps it was the 49ers game. Maybe the 3 INT's vs. Miami to give them the division. Wow, the team did look bad Week 2, could have been then. Hmm, I am not sure. The HORRIBLE INT in Seattle prolly did it for me.
I never wanted him on this team. He should have retired a Packer. I called him a selfish person and I still believe he is. Not saying I didn't support him this season, because I will support whoever is the QB for the Jets, but doesn't mean I like him. My family members (mostly Uncles in their 50's) thought I was nuts for not wanting a "legend" on my favorite team. He did well to start off but I always had this feeling of impending disaster. Now the Head coach is gone, the QB situation is horrible and the Jets will have another season in a different system. But hey, that #4 jersey sold the most in history right??
None of those options fit me, but I didn't want him here. I thought he was done last year and the year before that.
Week seven, 2005. Going into that game he had a 14-8 touchdown to interception ratio. The rest of the season was 6-21.
I never liked him, however, when he came here I was a little excited. That being said, I put option one.
lol i love the bias of this poll, but what else can be expected from namath, another great thread you started.
Can't vote, no option for those that still want him. Under the right coach and with more speed or upgrade at receiver we would be good.
