We all know that football is a business and ALL owners are in it to make money and what is the best way to make? Win.The more you win the more money the owners make. He made a LOT of great "decisions" before the season started. Now knowing that Farve was hurt that goes on Mangini he saw everything we saw with the way Farve was throwing the ball he should had made him get a MRI 5 or 6 weeks ago.

Because of Woody we lost out the most accurate passer in NFL history, rated #2 at QB today, who is a lot younger than Favre. Do a division rival no less for nothing in return. The same rival who kicked our ass in Meadowlands in the last game of the season to win division after 1-15 record. He also got rid of a good young coach. And because of the mess he created, Cowher, whose family is in NJ, would not even consider the Jets. I'd say Woody screwed things up pretty badly, wouldn't you?
Yes the bad part of the Favre deal was having to let Chad go BUT we also got rid of a injury prone QB and if Chad would had taken the hits Farve this year he would had gotten injuried again. I love Chad as QB but u can't count on him all year like u can Farve. As for Cower he is not ready to get back into coaching. We need a coch with balls and Mangini don't have that and I don't know about him being that smart
With the season Favre out together, coaching the team to 9-7 is a great outcome. Having Pennington in last 5 games of the year would result us in first round Bye or at least a home game in first round. We now have neither Chad nor Eric and a huge QB and FO mess, which Cowher wanted no part of, even though he has family in NJ. Woody surely screwed things up pretty royally over here.
The big question is would Chad had even been around for those last 5 games and not on the sideline in street clothes. the odds say he would be on the sideline

I watch just about every game the Phins played because I am a Chad fan and he would not had be able to take the hits Farve did and keep getting up. If you want to put Chad in there u also have to look at the hits Farve took to what Chad did. If Chad our QB and not Favre then that Chad taking those hits not Farve.

I like the fact he fired mangini quickly, I liked the fact he was upset after the game. Atleast we know he cares... I realize with the PSL and Favre there is a business side to him that hurts all the fans, but in order to be the business success that he wants. he has to deliver a top notch product. i think hes going to each year try and do that.. He spent allot of money. he let mangini and tanny do what they wanted.. it didn't work, he made a correction quickly.. Thats what you want from an owner, not to be shy with spending money, and hire people to run the organizational. exactly what he has done.
