Trust me I am thrilled that we are taking seven NYJ to the Pro Bowl this season, but does anyone else feel that each team should be represented in this game? There are teams out there that do not show good records but those guys work just as hard as any others out there. All Star games are nothing more than a popularity contest though, unfortunately.

Perhaps no voting by the fans?

Agreed. That's the best indication of performance.

How do you determine that? Are you going to use a BCS type formula to come up with a number? How do good CBs get in? How do you determine the OL or the special teamer?

Not always. Nahmdi Asomugha would never be able to go because no one hardly ever throws to him, and he's the best corner in the league

I don't think there should be any Pro Bowl.

The system in which the Players are selected needs to be completely overhauled...that said, I havent watched a probowl since I was maybe 13.

Maybe the NFL could assign an unbiased group of scouts whose job is to decide the best players at respective positions, just watching film of every game all season, to vote along with NFL coaches.

I dunno, the Pro Bowl is good for the players. It gives them another incentive to be the best and adds to thier legacy, every athlete is trying to build a legacy. I'm in favor of the Pro Bowl, but athletes like Favre and Bailey getting in are just a couple of examples of how flawed the current system is.

Revamp the Pro Bowl... Make it the AFC and NFC SB team starters vs. the rest of the NFL...

Why Pro Bowl been moved to Miami and will be played the week before the Super Bowl ?
What if the super bowl players got hurt during the PRo Bowl ?

Right but there's stats that indicate how often/little a guy gets thrown at. A good indication.
