I didn't buy a Favre jersey, but then again, I never buy any jerseys. Children wearing 'em? Adorable. Chicks wearing 'em? Hot. Grown men who aren't playing football wearing 'em? Sorta sad.

It's actually funny. I bought one on Ebay after the Jets beat Tennessee. The thing was, the guy never sent it. After a couple weeks (when the Jets started sucking), I filed a paypal claim and got my money back. I was and am now even more so, happy about it.

It was only 30 bucks so i dont feel that bad. What pisses me off is that I actually waited to see how he developed before I bought one. So I ended up buying one when we were on that 5 game win streak. Stupid me!

this is funny. i bought one knowing it was probably gonna be jersey for a guy who was around for one year. it was still fun to get favre and make what may look a stupid decision in buying his jersey. i enjoyed being 10 years old again the day after we got him and just being excited about something with no real reason for it.

ill never regret buying the jersey and ill never regret that the jets took a chance on getting him. it was a fun ride that ended pretty badly. i know some dont care about how "fun" the season was, but im still young and (hopefully) have a long time to see the jets win a superbowl. this season will just be one of those things i tell my son about in regards to how miserable it is to be a jets fan, just like i hear about from my dad.

Its part of being a fan.

Get over yourself. I guess you are an "adult".

Pretty much how I feel. For that 1st month I felt like a kid as well.....
I was a FAVRE fan long before he came to the JETS, this was an excuse for me to buy his jersey, even with a mind set of "it's going to be a boom or bust 1 year experiment" well it was a bust. At least I got an "authentic" knockoff on ebay for 50 bucks

my other jersey was an old Chrebet with the numbers falling off that I received for Christmas 10 years ago. Figured Eh, what the hell......

I've never met a diehard sports fan who doesn't own jerseys of their favorite team. Grown men wearing them is sad? Well I guess that's why I'm young at heart.
