Honestly, im pissed off. I was much more pissed off last week, but still today hurts. But when hasn't being a Jets fan hurt. But as Im sitting here reading all these angry posts about how the Jets failed us once again, For some reason It makes me love them even more. Once again its another long december without playoffs and of course no Super Bowl. Some day this team will win, i know it and we will be rewarded. This team kicks us in the balls every year, yet we come back and cheer them on. After all, how sweet will it be when the Jets finally win the Super Bowl again? Hopefully everyone will be around to see them because these heartbreaks every year are gonna kill some of us. I dont understand why, but at a time where this team failed me, I feel like I love the Jets more then ever right now. Screw it, if the red sox can win, we can too right? had to get that out :wink: thanks for listening. Go Jets.
I feel the same way. I bleed green every day and will root for them to the end of time even if they never do another good thing ever again. It is frustrating as hell to watch though. My solution is to stop paying for their product. I will no longer pay for tickets / merchandise. Beginning next season the only form of payment I will make is by sitting in front of my TV for 3 hours each Sunday.
If I were you I'd visit a shrink first thing tomorrow morning. I'm sure there is something that he can proscribe for you. And on a different note I wonder if the life expectancy of Jet fans is any less than the general public or the typical football fan.
What kills me about this year is that with a good coaching staff we had the talent to compete with anyone. Superbowl opportunities are few and far between and we just missed a great chance for one.
Take solace in this: What if we were Patriots fans? Would we just come in this board every week and jerk each other off about how good the team is? That would get very boring. We all need something to piss us off so we can unite in our hatred of it and complain ad nauseum about it. The record number of visitors to this site didn't happen after the Titans game - it happened after the Seattle game, which the Jets blew in horrible fashion. Everyone wanted to come on the board to talk about how they hate the Jets and are quitting on the team and how Mangini has to go and how Favre sucks and all the rest. That's the kind of shit that makes it worth being a Jets fan in a perverse way. And, eventually, they will come through for us and all these many years of frustration and anger and depression and everything else will wash away and it'll be amazing. One day . . .

I hope you're right Namath. Our day will come some day, but it really could of and should of been this season.
