I'm watching the Broncos and the Chargers play right now and watching Rivers and Cutler play QB. Man it would be nice to have a franchise QB.

I'm thinking somebody like Jeff Garcia will be our QB next year. You know just another guy who we plug in for a year or two before we move on to the next one. It really would be nice to quit acting like we have a QB and go out and actually get one. Just my opinion.

I would rather lose 10 games with Ratliff than plug in another journey man

I was gonna make this thread minus the Garcia speculation + anger over signing him despite being the first person to mention him.

I'm just gonna pray one of our QBs grows up or we luck into Matt Stafford. It looks like we're taking the baseball mentality and stocking up on QB's (pitchers) 'til one or more sticks.

How much does it suck that we could have had Cutler, instead we drafted Klemens.

Please tell me how great Cutler is. Hes a poor mans Brett Favre in the making, and the only reason he started is cuz he throws the ball real real far. South Park had him pegged in the Guitar Hero episode.

Better than the crap we have on the roster now. I also thought that we should have gone after Drew breese.

Based on the fact he walked in here and beat us. Based on the fact he is playing for a division title and we are home. Based on the fact that he is just a good player. You called him a poor mans Brett Favre well being a poor mans Brett Favre isnt necesarrily a bad thing.

Bretts problem this season is his decision making. I dont have a huge problem when he throws deep balls and they get picked. It's doing stupid things like trying to catch the Dolphins with 12 men in the huddle and by trying to do that you throw a pick. And that pick is on a drive where you are marching down the field trying to tie the game up.

What has Jay Cutler ever done? The Broncos are in the midst of a collapse worse than the Jets and getting smoked in the meantime.

The whole point of my post is that it would be nice to have a franchise QB.

Cutler has yet to prove he is an Elite QB. Wheres the proof? What has he done. The Jets still have a better record than the broncos, who are going to finish 8-8 thank you.

The Jets could have had Cutler, but not instead of Clemens, but rather instead of Ferguson - he was picked by Denver 38 spots before Clemens was picked by the Jets, so it isn't like anyone viewed them as equivalent to each other.

lol the Chargers can go 8-8 and win the division. If the Broncos go 9-7 and win the AFC West would it really matter what there record is?

No he hasnt proven he's an elite QB. Thats not the point. The point is that it would be nice to draft a QB and watch him grow in your system.

If the Jets think Kellen Clemens is the answer then fine, play him. But if they thought he was the answer I dont think they would have traded for Favre.
