Do you want favre to retire?

The miserable season is over, time to start thinking about offseason issues. Vote accordingly.

Nope. Time to either see what we have on the roster OR finally, draft a functional, competent QB.

Didn't want him here in the first place. The signing was a sham.

Why not he'll be good for 25 interceptions next year and the Jets can finish behind Buffalo. He's done as an NFL quarterback as of last year. That's why Green Bay didn't want him. He single handedly lost the game today. What a gutless performance.

No, his best days are behind him and he should just retire already. He shouldn't embarrass himself any longer or taint his reputation.

Depends on what we do with coaching and how we address the QB position.

    Yes.

Favre was practicing with high schoolers before he joined the Jets. Give him a legitimate off season to prepare his body and he won't collapse like this. I believe in him.

You titled the thread "Do you want Favre back?" and then made the poll "Do you want Favre to retire?", thereby screwing it up completely. I voted "No" that I didn't want him back, not that I didn't want him to retire.

I would rather you be the QB then him next year. He ruined the season and set back our rebuilding.

Brett learned a new offense and gave us hope. I would rather have him next year than Clemens or a rookie.

Give Breet R another year behind Brett F.

Im not a fan of favre, Nor was i in favor of bringing him here...BUT if it does turn out hes hurt, I think we have no choice but to hope he physically recovers and comes back for one more year. Hopefully we get a new staff and he will have familiarity with the players in his second year, and give him one more shot.. what options do we have? If he doesn't, i think were destined for a miserable season next year..

agreed. We would have gotten just as far if not farther with pennington and we wouldn't have had to give up a 3rd round pick.
