Fire all the staff and let the new HC pick his own staff from the ground up.

    CLEAN HOUSE

Dump the entire front office. This team is WAY too talented to have a collapse like this. 8-3 to 9-7, what a disgrace. Hire a staff that knows how to get a team pumped, then come back next year again with all this talent, and win it all, please.

can the Jet Fans be fired Tomorrow??/

If not for the need to sell PSL's the Jets would never have dumped Penny and we would have won the Division...

I hope you are proud of yourselves!!!

Yeah that's an excellent idea...we'll just FIRE the whole staff and start over...that'll REALLY work!!! AYFKM, we should just change the name, location, and entire staff and enter some sort of NFL witness protection program because that's what we need!!!

Herm Edwards was run out of town for much less than this. A collapse of this magnitude is inexcusable...anyone who watched the last few weeks should have no doubt that Mangini is just incompetent at making in game strategy changes, and it sure didn't seem like the players were playing their hardest for him.

This offseason a number of excellent coaches are going to be available for hire. Bill Cowher, Steve Spagnuolo, maybe Jon Gruden. Favre is on his way out and Mangini's shelf life is short; a new coach deserves the chance to get his own QB. Make the change.

Is Farve Staying? That could be another upgrade. Coles is one hit away from a bib, We need a safety opposite Rhodes, Two Cornerbacks to play opposite Revis, A Lb who can drop back into coverage and Two Defensive Ends. Ellis made one play since he got his money and has not been seen since.

Fire the entire staff and GM and you create more turmoil in personnel. Again. Great idea.

I would fire Sutton. Move Callahan into OC. Mangini's had two winning seasons -- granted, changes need to be made. But what are we going to do next season if the results don't pan out. Fire whoever they hire this offseason?

Yea 'Moose...it's time for a coaching change. Mangini is garbage.

I say keep the 3-4 defense....but we need some fresh minds on the sideline....not a clueless egomaniac like Mangini who has an apparent allergy to "halftime adjustments".

That's more of Woody's fault than the fans' fault

Nah, that's BS... Get rid of Sutton. THE O Coordinator can go also. The Head Coach stays.

Not today, even though I'm neither suprised or angry but in about a week i'll list many of the problems with our ST Coach....who in my LTHO is the worst on the staff. Westhoff should pack his bags and cane and shuffle off.

TRUE! They are the most incompetent staff ever.

    In agree.

Rich Kotite wasn't this bad! At least Kotite didn't have this talent! Yes, they spent a lot of money on free agents before the 1-15 season, but those were bad signings. Kris Jenkins, Favre, Woody and he rest were all hailed as great signings. The talent was upgraded. The coaching sucked.

    Mangini must go!

Rich Kotite was a disaster! He was booted so fast from Philadelphia before coming to the Jets - I remember the Philly owner at the time saying something to the effect "due to philosophical differences..."

His best post game phrase after being whipped by the opposing team -- "...yes, but we played hard...."
