Time for Woody to stand up and do what is best for his investment, and that is fire this entire coaching staff, with the possible exception of Westhoff. 9-7 isn't a horrible season, either, but it's how they got to 9-7 that calls for drastic action. Fire them, Woody.
Forget it old buddy. Woody doesn't operate that way. He would much more prefer Mangini to resign. That doesn't require courage. Best guess? Mangini gets a 2 year extension on the strength of the GREAT job he's done this season.
Something has to be done..that's for sure. This was an absolute COLLAPSE...and there were no talent, injury or bad luck type excuses.W/ the way this fan base has been tortured over the years...action MUST be taken immediately.
Yup! Here's the deal. If Woody Johnson doesn't fire this staff, then he's telling the whole world (and fanbase--who are buying these expensive PSLs) that mediocrity is perfectly acceptable. Rebuilding for a few years is all right. Waiting and hoping is the way to go. This, after the 'fins go from 1-15 to division winners. Woody--make your move!!!!
I could go either way on Westhoff but there is no way Mangini, Schottenheimer or Sutton should continue to be employed. If I tanked my job that badly, I wouldn't be.
Mangini was unable to motivate the club when it counted most. It's obvious, the team no longer wants to play for him. His gameday coaching is absolutely awful.
