I hope everyone on the team will watch this game. They want to play inspired? They want to see a team play with heart? Then look no further. Shit. Mangini ain't gonna do it. I hope someone pinned this notice on the bulletin board in the Jets locker room.

I'll be there watching. This may be the only thing that hypes me up for this game come Sunday.

I've seen the Monday Night Miracle replayed a few times in the last year or so.
I'd rather they show the O'Brien-Marino shootout from 1986 in its entire original broadcast.

Why not say f@ck Time Warner? They are just as much to blame as the NFL for not getting the channel on their network.

That's about the only thing Marino will be remembered for now that most of his records have fallen. At least he's got all those Super Bowl Rings to make him feel better.

    Oh wait..

The Dolphins had no answer for Wesley. He always seemed to have big games against them. (Except when the field was doctored into a muddy mess and he couldn't run)

Nah, it doesn't sting at all to be honest. And you're right, Marino is a HOF QB. He'll always be in that "one of the best never to win a ring" category though...and that's a tier below the rest.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but the 2000 Jets had some great wins (Miami Monday Night Miracle, the Tampa Bay Green Lantern game, etc.), but folded at the end of the season in a horrible way - losing an incredibly uninspiring game to Detroit at home and then the Christmas Eve debacle against Baltimore. They finished 9-7 and out of the playoffs after being 6-1 and 9-4. They lost their last three games. They had an over the hill QB who led the league in interceptions. Sound familiar? I don't think anyone should take any inspiration from the 2000 Jets.

The NFL Network could get a whole weekend out of Jet-Dolphin classics if they really wanted to.

Hopefully not the Fake Spike game :).

I've been a Jet Fan for 30 years and must say the Jets mostly played well against the Dolphins. Marino would light us up, but their defense ws pretty awlful and the Phins generally had no running game.

My 3 Favorite Jet/Phins games of all time:

1978........Opening Day at Shea Jets 33- 20 ... Wesley Walker 2 TDs. Bruce Harper had a good game also.

    1986........Of Course....Great Game.

    2000........Monday Night Miracle.
