in a lot of respects, the MNF game is mirroring the SNF game. Will we get a long Crosby miss followed by a 23-17 Bears OT win?
Adrian Peterson just killed the Bears. ugh, every time the Packers are on MNF, that idiot Kornheiser goes on and on about Favre. FAVRE IS NOT IN THE GAME, YOU MORON!
and just like last night, we have a freezing cold game, a late comeback by the home team, a TD to tie, the road team then proceeding to drive down the field and miss a FG that would've won the game. OT again. I'm rooting for a tie. I would also be amused by a 20-17 Bears win, because that was projected score on Yahoo! and ESPN.
a key horsecollar by Peterson earlier and now a critical horsecollar on Rouse. Bears nearing FG range.
and the home team wins the coin toss and goes on to win (this time with an FG instead of a TD). Hell, the games were even almost exactly the same length. Eerie. The difference is that the 4 or 4.5 home favorite did not cover this time due to the FG. Works for me.
Where did you predict a score? I'm looking at posts 461 and 462. In 461 you conceded the division to the Vikings because you predicted the Packers would hold onto their lead over the Bears.
on Yahoo! Check the picks league we're in. I got it exactly right. Yeah, I totally jinxed the Packers last night. I'm used to it by now. I jinxed the NO/DET over on Sunday.
Oh, okay. I'll check that out. What you had written here last night didn't add up, but you get credit for picking the correct score in the Yahoo league.
I have since confirmed that that is correct. 9/27/70 Bears 20, Eagles 16 (Dyche Stadium, if it's still called by that name, is where Northwestern plays)
