Favre is only going to cost us a 3rd round pick and we get back a 7th in 2010 if Favre retires after the season.

If we kept Pennington, we would have the 3rd round pick back and the gentleman that has the 2nd highest passer rating.

We aren't even...officially eliminated from the playoffs here.

Wouldn't that be the bright side? The bright side on this site is still conceding defeat, but not draft picks?

Wow. I can see why some of you guys think I'm crazy.

Yeah, but we would also have Pennington.

Hindsight's 20/20 guys, 90% of the board (myself included) were nuts about the Favre trade.

Sadly the teams we need to lose are the Patriots or the Ravens, if it was any other teams, I would agree.

Yea...it f'n sucks that our postseason hopes really ends up hinging on the Patriots of all teams to lose.

BUT, they've lost 5 times this year...we've won 9 times this year...whats one more both ways?

Yes, I was very happy, too; I can't deny it. This year has amplified the vast inexperience of the coaching staff and I really think they lost the team for good last weekend.

There's no way CP would put up his Miami stats on this team--you can take any QB and they will fail here because the system is a failure. BF may go to someone else next year, maybe the vikes, and put up regular BF numbers.

Exactly. If the jets had miami's coaches and parcells running things behind the scenes we would be 13-2, no joke.
