After 40 years of watching this team, I'm sick. Same old Jets. We always get clowns as coaches. We should have started Ratcliff from the beginning. Farve was just brought in to sell tickets. We,ve been had again as sucker fans.

I think it is pretty high. If Woody knows the game or looks at stats and can interpret them, he will see that despite the record and the big wins, the Jets struggled in certain areas all season and instead of showing improvement, those areas were exploited and it just got worse.

With all the money spent to bring in players to win, there's no way the team can afford to let this happen again.

If our coach was someone with experience and a proven track record, the Jets would be awesome, but Mangini just doesn't have it.

Some blame has to fall on the players, but no team has a star at every position. Coaches need to put players in systems that let the best players perform the best and let the lesser players contribute, not be picked on to the team's detriment. Mangini and his boys are unable to make that happen, thus, he needs to go.

Ray Lucas Just sh*t on mangini

when asked if he kicks the field goal on 4th and in from the 2

    "HELL NO!!!"

he basically questioned every major decision and said he felt that mangini had no faith in his guys. was also extremely critical of not letting feely re kick the field goal after the penalty

Mangini is like the nerdy friend of a group of 4 that tailgates that keeps getting invited because his brings the grill.

I don't get why some of the people who've been around for 40 years (supposedly) even like this team right now. I mean...none/few of you have anything good to say about the team...or even the history of the team...so why stick with it?

    who to fire...

In a season where our top rival loses their HOF QB in week 1, the Phins are coming off of a 1-15 season, and we spend the most money in the offseason to get quality players, to miss the playoffs is a disgrace.

I am sick of having a coach that shows absolutely NO FIRE whatsoever. And its not just the head coach. Schotty and Sutton are pansies as well. Mangini is not Belichick, or Parcells, yet he treats the media and players like he is too good. How could a team with 7 Pro-bowlers, who beat the undefeated Titans lose such a gimme game. To not even record a sack on a team with NO O-line is just awful. There are no words to describe how bad of a loss this was. I feel bad for all the players (except Coles) that have to play for such a moron..

And Ps..I was under the impression that watching the game clock was the job of the headcoach. I mean how do you possibly get a delay of game to nulify a fieldgoal in the 4th fucking quarter? Any decent headcoach has to see that and call timeout.

Well, easy to say in retrospect. Why isn't he killing Mangini for the lack of emotion and fire from his players? That's the main problem. We lost because the seahags wanted it more.

There was nothing wrong w/ that decision, we didn't score a point the rest of the game- would it have mattered? The decision to punt instead of the 50 yd FG and the decision to go on 4th and 4 were his 2 bad decisions.

Who should our next coach be

I say Bill Cowher if we can get him. If not maybe we can sign Cassel and hire Josh McDaniels

I hope it's a 100% probability that Mangini gets fired. The sooner the better. This guy stinks on ice. Let's face it folks, this guy looked so good in his first year as a Jets coach because their schedule was a cakewalk. He has no idea how to coach a team. None at all. He had a fantastic linebacker in Vilma, a guy you could build a defense around, and he moved him out of position and made the guy worthless. Does he learn his lesson? No. He drafts Gohlston and does the same thing with him. No Golston doesn't even dress for games anymoer. A complete waste of a very high draft pick. Golston will go somewhere else and flourish and the Jets will continue to be a bunch of also-rans.

How many times did I need to see Favre under pressure, getting sacked, or making a bad decision this week (again) while Thomas Jones is getting 4 and 5 yards a pop each time he touches the ball. Meanwhile Chad Pennington is a strong candidate for the MVP down in Miami. GO Chad! I hope he throws 5 TD passes next week and ends up with th MVP. Meanwhile Bret can take his tired body and go retire or lead the league in interceptions for some other team next year.

30+ years as a Jets fan and I don't think I've ever been this disgusted with this team.

And when we get beat by Miami next week, we'll ALL look like fools again.

Points are points in the end, unless you don't have enough of them. On that scoring drive we had I was suprised they didn't go for the first down on 4&1 instead of kicking the FG. I thought they had the momentum and could punch it in. Even a TD there could not have saved us, but I was hoping it would spark us and keep the momentum.
