I like the Pot Luck, lol, I just dont think that the Jets were lucky to walk alway with the W...If anything, if our D would have played the way that we all know they can play...And actually tackle the running back, I would say that it's safe to say that the Bills were lucky to even be in the game...Everyone talks about how the Jets run D was horrid, which it was (@ Times) But what about the Jets rushing for a crazy ammount of yards? That Leon run was awsome but ESPN has yet to show it. I think we rushed for more than the Bills but yet...Everyone says the Jets were lucky How about something like... "The Fumble in the Meadowlands"? Or maybe something like... "The Broadway Return"
I'm gonna call it (2:06) 7-J.Losman sacked at BUF 16 for -11 yards (27-A.Elam). FUMBLES (27-A.Elam), touched at BUF 16, RECOVERED by NYJ-92-S.Ellis at BUF 11. 92-S.Ellis for 11 yards, TOUCHDOWN. I think that has a nice ring to it.
It's too early to "name the play" imho. If we miss the playoffs this year, then who cares? That's why I don't remember the Monday Night Miracle all that fondly, we missed the playoffs that season. It didn't propel us to greater things. If we don't lose a game from here on out and hoist the Lombardi Trophy, then that play becomes one of the most important turning points in franchise history(and likely enters general NFL lore as well)...but for now it's just a lucky break. How about the Divine Doobie
spliff second turnaround The Elam and Ellis joint effort The bloody reeferee play "There's Something About Maryjane" starring Shaun Ellis There's no I in Weed Hashmouth football
Yeah...But look @ it like this, we will go up against the Ravens in the Wild Card round if the Jets finish off beating both Seattle and Miami...Since we would be the AFC East Champions, we would get the 3rd seed and Baltimore would be the 6th seed I believe, the Jets would get the home game & you know what? In the Meadowlands, Putting pressure on a rookie QB, Favre and the Jets offense against the Ravens D...I really like our chances as long as our Front 7 led by Kris Jenkins and David Harris can stuff the Ravens rushing attack. Tennesee is going to be the @1 Seed, getting thre bye week. Pittsburg would be the #2 seed, getting the bye week. So that means...A Jets win over the 6th seed (Ravens) would match the Jets up @ Pittsburg come round 2. I feel the Colts will be the 5th seed and they will play Denver...The AFC West chamions on the road...I see the Colt running away with that game...BIG TIME. That would match the Colts up against a Tittans team that may be without Haynesworth...I say the Colts win. Then you know what? What if the Jets just explode against the Steelers and get revenge on the two missed FG's that killed our season the last time these two teams played.. Then ya know what? We could get ANOTHER Home game against a Colts team but I wont lie...Its going 2 be crazy, lol
TB, your post assumes a Titans win over Pittsburgh Sunday and I doubt that will happen. Oh, and the rest of it is crazy too. haha.
