Here is my prediction of what happens with the Jets:

Sunday: Out and out blowout over Seattle... Jets fans rejoice.

Next Sunday: Lose to Miami by 1 in a game where everything that has been wrong with this season is displayed one final time... Jets fans lose their collective minds and lots of leaping off the Brooklyn Bridge.

Offseason: PSL sales terrible. Woody getting concerned about his next jumbo jet purchase.

Reaction: Mangini and company - fired.

    Next head coach: Bill Cowher

Brett Favre retires. He's tough, but very few can withstand the Jets experience, and I doubt he will at his age.

2009 Preseason: QB competition opens. Cowher sees the real talent he has in front of him in Brett Ratliff.

2009 Regular Season: Brett Ratliff solidies himself as the new starting QB of the Jets. Has a very good year with a few hiccups.

2010 Season: Brett Ratliff leads the Jets to the Super Bowl and to victory.

    Yay.

^ I'll take it.... Even though losing to Miami would just be awful...

If we're going to miss the playoffs, can we at least drop the Seattle game, since I don't care about them?

good assumptions. i like the bill cowher thing too. i dotn want to give up on mangini yet. he needs someone to wake his ass up on d though. no more sutton. he needs to go. one light this year is that mangini has gotten better(not perfect, but better) with clock management. imo

Jets beat Seattle and Miami in impressive fashion, then beat the Ravens and Titans, and then Jay Feely misses 2 key kicks and Pittsburgh wins the Championship game. For some reason Bettis is there and celebrates.

The Jets win big over Seattle and beat Miami 14-13 on a cold and windy day.
The Jets beat NE Patriots in the first round, then lose to the Steelers.
The Jets fire Sutton and bring on Romeo as DC. Favre stays one more year to bring the Super Bowl back after 40 years...the same as his age...lol.

    Seattle Game:
The Jets go out to Seattle and fly home happy with their first win on the West Coast. i think the game will be another ugly game, but not as close as Buffalo

    Miami Game
The game is a dogfight from start to finish. The Jets are up by 4 and Chad and the Dolphins are driving down the field with time running out. Abram Elam comes up with a pick in the Red Zone to seal the game.

The Jets finish the regular season with a 3 seed in the playoffs. i'm not going to make any predictions for the playoff games because i don't want to get ahead of myself

What is sad is that i'm sure many Jets fans are rooting for a failed season just so that can happen

Well, someone's got to be the darksider here. I honestly believe the Jets lose both of the next two games. I hope they don't but that's what I think happens.

The Jets win out and if they don't Mangini will still be the coach next year.

    Touched that up for ya...

    Miami Game
The game is never close. Jets score 14 early much like they do every week.

Mangini forces Sutton to play a Tampa 2, and Rush 5 everydown. Chad gets the inside the numbers taken away, Has constant pressure and no running game.

He tries to get the ball out into the flat, Revis takes one for 6, law grabs another for FG range.

By the 4th Quarter the consigliere calls down to the sideline, and has TheSparanos promote Ronnie Brown from capo to capo regime to run the Wildcat.(this could result from a stray snowflake putting ChinaDoll on IR)

The Jets finish the regular season with a 3 seed in the playoffs.

I have the Patriots number 1, Jets 2 and the Bills 3. Nothing personal, but just the teams that I really hate to lose to in that order.
