It makes no snese to discuss this w/ you b/c you just make excuse after excuse for Favre when anyone w/ eyes can see he hasn't played well.

Last year our O was awful b/c our OL was awful and our QB was playing hurt. We had no running game, no pass protection. That has changed this year and the biggest reason why our O has been much better.

I don't care waht Favre did last year, it has no relevance to this year. It was w/ a different team and different system.

Did I say he couldn't play? I was concerned about him getting another concussion or being so beat up he couldn't play but that hasn't been the case. He sure looked terrible yesterday, right?

I hope this is a joke?(though I know you are humorless) How would that quote prove I had an agenda? Please explain.

He showed a few flashes dropped a ball that turned into an INT and turned the game and disappeared in crunch time. He sure didn't look like a big time No. 1 WR to me.

You used the term beat up and said we shouldn't resign him. You have an agenda against Favre. Yesterday was the perfect game for you. We won Favre had a bad second half and Chad won with a brilliant 14 point performance and a great D. I'm happy for you Junc. There is a difference between can still play, shows flashes and comparing him to his prime.

By the way nice signings by the Yanks!

So we are going to turn this into another Pennington thread? Ok. Miami has scored 4 TDs in their last three games? Holy fuckin WOW. What a mistake we made letting him go. Damn us forever.

Maybe the fact Miami hasn't given up a TD in the last three games might have something to do with it. Wouldn't you say?

He dropped a rocket that was thrown BEHIND HIM.

I don't have any agenda against Favre, I want to win. I am objective unlike you guys. Nowhere in that quoite you dug up will you find where I said Coles couldn't play. I said maybe it's time to get rid of him before he can't play anymore and obviously he can still play. he just is playing w/ a QB who is really struggling. Nice try try to take a quote out of conbtext trying to prove a point. You will actually convince some of the morons on this board I have an agenda when my only agenda is seeing the Jets win. It's funny how when Favre was playing well and we were on that 5 game streak I did nothing but praise him but I have an agenda:breakdance:

Chad got his team out to a 14-3 lead and didn't turn it over, our QB got us out to a 14-3 lead and turned it over multiple times. Thankfully we won but it shouldn't have come down to needing our D to make play after play.

Sorry about your Giants, they are really struggling now and your team may lose the top seed.

or Maybe the fact that Miami's O doesn't turn it over multiple times a game helps their D? Our D doesn't have that luxury.

The throw was behind him but that is a ball the old(younger) Coles makes every time.

You atc like Coles has never dropped a pass. It was a catchable ball but a difficult one to catch since it was slightly behind him and a rocket.

It's alot easier to play defense when you aren't constantly being put in bad spots like our D is. Miami has TEN turnovers in 14 games, Favre ALONE has 19. Our D has created 27 turnovers and we are just +2, Miami's D has created 22 TOs and is +12. That is an enormous difference.

Posters like that are really a negative on a sports message board. What is the point of such people? They can be counted on to be entirely predictable, unpersuasive, tedious and a waste of time.

Junc is who he is. I get into it pretty good with him but the truth is he's a great fan of the team, passionate as hell and I think he's great for the board even though sometimes he drives me crazy. Most of the time it's all in good fun.

You have some ridiculous excuse for everything. OK because they don't turn it over, it negates their primary responsibility of SCORING POINTS.

So you're telling me that Miami only scores when they have to? I saw your turnover stats, and it doesn't change the fact that the O is supposed to scores TDs. It's an obscure concept and somewhat abstract -scoring points on O. Yes playing from behind requires a different game plan and some adjustments, but it doesn't change the fact that 4 TDs in 3 games sucks. And before you come back with "hey they still win" maybe you should change the argument to whose D sucks worse.

    You, sir, are an idiot.

Junc is an idiot. He's just the typical JO that can't face up to when he's wrong.

Don't be so thin skined. It's okay to kill each other as long as we understand that we really are all sort of friends here talking about our team. I admit I get heated during certain battles but it's just the heat of the moment and don't carry it to a grudge.

Oh I'm not thin. I've just heard him tell me one too many times that I base my opinions off fantasy football and that I know nothing. Sorry, fan or not, that's an idiot.

It was a tough catch, it was catchable but a tough one. if the ball is placed better he catches it. It was a bad luck play. I don't blame Favre for that, it was equally Favre/Coles fault and took a bad bounce.

Their O is scoring enough, I'd rather socre less than turn it over and allow the opponent to score more. Our OFFENSES have scored a similar amount of points but they don't turn it over, they aren't constattly putting their D in bad spots like our O is.

Enough w/ the 3rd grade insults. I understand it gets frustrating not being able to keep up w/ me but either accept in and move on or pay attention and learn something.

IMO, the Fish are winning with a running game and defense, mostly defense. Chad is playing well for them, but if he were still with the Jets we would have lost the first Buffalo game and the game in NE. We'd be 7-7 right now instead of 9-5. Favre led drives in both of those games that Chad never could have.

I am fine with this sentiment, but I put him on ignore because he repeats himself over and over and does not really address points raised by others. He may in the process be a Jet fan, but he really adds nothing here, imo. So he can continue being a Jet fan, but just not one who posts anything worthwhile.

I yawn in your general direction, idiot.

Yes I will be calling you an idiot every time you say something stupid, which is pretty often. Idiot.

Without looking it up I would be willing to bet he has never had a season with as many dropped passes as this one. That ball was certainly catchable and should have been caught.
