Yeah? And I'd bet you'd lick Mangini's balls if he told you they tasted like strawberrys. When was the last time you saw JM play corner? You're merely taking EM's word for his bad play. I'm not saying he's a shut down corner and nor did the other kid. Rather, you are the fool for swallowing everything Mangini says.
Agreed, or maybe try him at safety being that he was a big hitter (not synonymous with being a good tackler). He was very athletic though
I agree, but Miller had a higher salary than any other possibilities, so we have a bit more cap room.
Comparing LW with JM is not the point of the thread. The point is that EM had a thing against JM and kept him on the bench for 2 years fucking with his head. Then, he gets his freedom and redeems himself with OAK by running back 2 kicks in 3 games. He is a fucking hero and EM is a fucking asshole. Thats the point. You fucking guys--I love ya.
Do the Raiders have a vendetta against him, too? The other people in this thread were being sarcastic. You're just being angry to a ridiculous degree (if you were attempting sarcasm, you've taken it way too far and left no hints of your attempt). Are you Miller's father or something? Why are you so worked up over this? He shouldn't have been released before Drew Coleman, that's undeniable, but he's not seeing defensive snaps in Oakland either, and was regularly either burned or caused a penalty when he was in coverage here, even during the preseason against lesser competition. I don't know what Mangini has said about Miller or what you have stuck up your ass, but with how aggravated it seems to be you'll probably need surgery to get it out. Edit - Also he didn't look too good on ST when he came back from his recent injuries (which didn't look good when looked at with his injuries from last season, especially considering that his greatest asset is his speed). He has come back well from it, obviously, but throw a few leg injuries at a speed player and no one will look at him the same, even if he proves himself to be every bit the player he used to be.
it actually is the point of the thread. The only reason we used miller on this team was for kr. We obv didnt want him playing cb and since we have a probowl kr we dropped miller for a better cb ala ty law.... i guess
I have an issue with the injustice EM tried to perpetuate on JM. But, I take back my trash talking. Accept my apologies as I sometimes over-react. Rock on quackers!
justin miller is limping still.. His speed is clearly not the same as you can see with the kicker almost keeping up with him
How can you say its the point of the thread when I started the fucking thread? Would I not know better what the fuck the point of the thread is? :breakdance::rofl2::breakdance: Holy shit!! This is great! I love all jets fans!!
Incoherent and lowbrow personal attacks aside, what you wrote is simply unsubstantiated bullshit. You either aren't a particularly knowledgable Jets' fan, have some awkward manlove for Justin Miller, or have some completely irrational hate for Mangini. (Probably more than one of these is accurate - I suspect the Justin Miller mancrush for sure) As another poster pointed out already, Mangini gave Miller AMPLE playing time, INCLUDING GIVING HIM THE STARTING CORNER SPOT OPPOSITE REVIS heading into camp. (Something many Jet fans thought was a bit premature. The bottom line is, Miller is a shitty cover corner. No one ever denied that Miller could return kicks with the best of them . . . but so can Leon Washington. And Washington is an excellent change-of-pace running back, so he has use elsewhere. And for you to suggest that Miller is a potential shutdown cover is utterly laughable. I didn't think there were Jet fans as ignorant as you on this message board.
Rock on, Jet brutha. I wish only the best for Justin Miller, just like any player who isn't a Fish or Patriot. Oddly, I've never really hated the Bills. Always been more of a quiet respect thing. Dunno why. There's no need to stoke the coals. Revis Flytrap has already stated that he overreacted and explained why. While anger isn't the way to get the point across, he did calmly get his point across in the end: Justin Miller was originally a pet project of Mangini's, and when it didn't work out, Mangini was naturally disappointed with Miller more than he would be with other players. Whether or not that played into the cutting we can't really know. Revis Flytrap feels it did, others don't. It's called a disagreement. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and we don't need rampant flaming going on.
your thread was about how Em was dumb to drop JM. the response was Leonwashington leon washington leon washington we dont need miller cuz he serves no purpose other than kr.... if you didnt know we have leon washington.... there for your point of your thread was answered.... Em wasnt dumb we had a kr and needed a better cb so we dropped a guy who was an expensive kr when we had one for a cb that we needed. Is that clear enough End thread =D night flytrap lol
Read much??? I said "going into camp", Mr. flytrap. Miller played his way out of the starting spot with his shitty performance as a cover corner in training camp. And, by the way, Revis got AMPLE playing time the past 2 years as both the number 2 and 3 corner. He sucked at it. Fuck, he was practically good for 2 PI calls a game. (something that Rich Cimini and many other Jets' beat writers harped about daily) No intelligent responses to what I wrote???
Thanks for the lecture. But he started the personal attacks. Not me. He got a little bent out of shape and I responded accordingly. No big deal.
You believe that EM was giving him the starting job because he said so--EVEN THOUGH HE NEVER PLAYED A FUCKING DOWN! Either he "gave" the starting position to a guy who eventually would never play a down because he sucks, or he never meant to give him the starting position. Which is it? If you state the former, than you yourself are saying that EM is incapable of forecasting talent. If the latter, then EM was full of shit the whole time and was just trying to fuck over JM. Lets see if you are capable of learning or understanding. I'm most likely throwing pearls to swine.
I didn't think it was a good move to release Justin Miller because say Leon got injured for the whole season (god forbid) we'd have a capable and former kr/pr pro bowler in justin miller as a backup. And as Miller has shown he still has it
http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80d4e97d I find it hard to believe that Drew Coleman or even David Barrett is helping the team more than Justin Miller would have. But losing him won't likely affect the won-loss record.
