I'm not saying that they would be 9-5 without Chad. Not at all. He has played well but its a team game.

The Dolphins last 3 games against very "scary, tough" opponents.

    16-12 against the Rams
    16-3 against the Bills
    14-9 against the 49ers

Thats an average of a bit above 15 points a game.

And the defense has not allowed a TD in the last three weeks. Thats a total of 24 points in 3 games. We allowed 27 in one AGAINST a team that has scored 6 points in the last 2 games.

He can afford to be a game manager and take his chances when they come because the defense is going to get it done, Favre doesn't have that same luxury - did you see that play today when the Bills RB ran over 5 of our players.

I've been saying this for weeks now but if the Jets are playing the dolphins in week 17 at home for the division, there is NO WAY they lose to Miami. Book it.

    16-12 against the Rams - Chad 1 TD - Farve 1 TD
    16-3 against the Bills - Chad 1 TD - Farve 1 TD
    14-9 against the 49ers - Chad 2 TDs - Farve 0 TD

    lol

Then shouldn't their offense put up more than 15 points a game?

Am I correct in saying that no matter what scenario plays out, even if NE and MIA lose next week and the jets win, there is no way we can win the division with a loss in wk 17?

I could care less whether or not we beat "Chad" as I'm more concerned with going into the playoffs. We need to beat the entire team. We have NO room for error.

And we can't look at Seattles record, because it's never easy to play there.

Only one team will be at the top of the AFC East after next weekend. The question is who will it be?

Seattle nearly beat the Patriots last week. We suck on the West Coast and suck playing at 4 pm EST. We have major problems defending QB's who can scramble (e.g. Matt white Cassel), and Seneca Wallace can take off and run. Plus next Sunday will be Holmgren's final game in Seattle - think the players will be motivated to win it for him?

I see why some fans think it will be an easy Jet win.

His full name is James Chadwick Pennington. People on this message board become so irrational when the C-word is mentioned that I think from now on I am just going to call him James.
