I dont see how Chad got anything resembling a raw deal here. He was paid $64 million and delivered very little in return. Favre's made mistakes but he's a helluva lot more fun to watch than Penny. Now imagine if we were well coached?

Aside from the Arizona game, how has Favre been fun to watch? He's played a dink and dunk offense for the most part. I understand folks being excited to see or have Favre play. I'm one of them. But what we have got so far hasn't been much different than what we have had all along.

I don't think Chad got a raw deal. he wasn't durable, that's life in the NFL. As far as being fun, fun comes from winning and I think we'd have another win or 2 if Chad was still here. I still think we can have alot of fun w/ Favre down the stretch if he and his teammates start playing better.

Here is a great quote from favre:

Seeing as how you are a Chad Fan, it is not surprising you don't know what a Qb looks like that is fun to watch. Chad was painful to watch last year. You on the other hand were probably sitting their waving your pom poms the whole time.

Of course you don't think Favre is fun to watch.

100% dead on Jetzz.. They've managed to turn Brett Farve into Chad and shoehorned him into this offense. I think its sad to see a HOF QB go out like this...

Whatever, even when Favre is running this short game, it's more interesting and entertaining than watching Chad out there. How can you forget the dozens of times on 3rd and long, Chad throws for half the necessary yardage and it's a punt coming up.

Watching Brett throw across his body to the opposite side of the field for a completion, even at 10-15 yards is still far more entertaining than watching Chad throw the ball back to the line of scrimmage, just to avoid the sack.

Lasers being shot into the endzone, on the run...gimme a break. If that's not fun to watch, well then hell, maybe you do need to go follow the Phins.

Exactly. Just because Favre might be better used with a better scheme and playcalling does not mean he's fallen quite so low as the excrutiatingly painful game that Chad is.

Arn't we like 5-20 on 3rd and and 1-5 on 4th down the last two weeks. And most people complaints are its because we are passing on these downs. If we dont have a 3rd and shrot Favre does not usually come through.

The last two weeks. There's no doubt the last 2 have been terribly ugly, but you can't just throw away everything else he's done because of the last two weeks.

You realize you come across as happy to be able to say bad things about Favre.

On the merits, how about that first possession when the pass was on the money on third down?

OK so then why didn't you appreciate Chad? if you think Favre has been really good this year and you think it was like Chad '04 then why do you hate Chad?

And I don't have heroes. I appreciate players that play well for my teams, always give effort and are class acts on and off the field. Chad was all of those things and I appreciate what he did.

I don't hate him, he isn't going to get it done and the O he runs is a bore to watch on top of it. Football should be entertaining and high quality, Chad provided neither since he was hurt.

I am entertained when we win. The last 2 weeks sure haven't been entertaining and I'm sure GB fans weren't entertained when he threw away the title game.

No, this is where understanding football helps. Should Favre have thrown that pass? No, of course not. Which is a bigger factor in loss?

Passing O: 19-35 236 2TD 2INT. Sure not great, but not terrible. Especially for bad weather.
Rushing O: 14 for 28. Pathetic. Completely pathetic. 13 of which came on 1 play!
    Rushing D: 39 for 134.
Passing D: Al Harris let Plax get 11 for 154!

Sure I'm not happy Favre threw the interception. But its shocking to me that someone that claims to be as knowledgeable as you can't see which part of the offense really came up short that day and also see that the D really let us down. This is the same guy that blames the K for missing a field goal against Pitt as to why 3 points of O were only scored? And you try and hide behind the cloak of objectivity. Biased, biased, biased.
