http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80d21cc0 At 2:05 they slo mo the holding call, looks like a really bad call. Hochuli needs to take a break from lifting and work on his reffing.
It's back to normal for the officials, we always get screwed. We stunk anyway but if they don;t throw the flag there we are up 21-17 in the 4th and it's a completely different game.
I'm not going to say "We always get screwed" but we sure do seem to come up on the wrong end of a LOT of "iffy" calls ... That holding call was BS ... No questions asked ... That was the turning point of the game ... We go up 21-17 and everything changes
We always get screwed and people will always point to the one time we got a break in '98 against Seattle.
That was a BS call! I was so pissed, I was throwing stuff all over the place after that. That would have been a huge momentum shift and would have given us the lead.
What's sad is that they called a penalty on the ST earlier and it looked like it was going to be one of those games. Makes you think if the NFL wants to get SF to where it once was but since i'm not much for conspiracies...eh
Did the NFL network guys commentate over those highlights? I have no sound, but I cant imagine they agreed with it....now that I see it again for a longer period of time, that was brutal man, just brutal....there was absolutely nothign there to call a hold.....bad bad bad..... and as shitty as the jets were yesterday, a TD return giving us the lead woul dhave changed the game.....brutal....not as bad as what happened to the chargers, but brutal.
I notice he stopped wearing shirts that are two sizes too small after someone mentioned it on the air and ridiculed it.
shitty call, what can you do? It doesn't change the fact that we were outplayed and out coached for the majority of the game though.
With all the penalties the Jets had anyways... the refs were keeping an close eye on everything they did. Our team does not have the ability to win games with that many penalties during crucial points in the game.
You know who I feel really bad for in this game? James Ihedigbo. Dude gets fucked up making a tackle. Laid out on the field. Gets up eventually, rubs some dirt on it, gets back in the game. He makes a textbook block on special teams to spring Leon for the go-ahead touchdown. Flagged for holding?! Yeesh. Walks to the sideline and gets chewed out by Mike Westhoff. (Obviously, Westhoff didn't see the replay- when he did, on the big screen, he started cursing out the ref). Seriously, keep your head up, young man. That was a tough day at the office if I've ever seen one.
deion was being a fuckin douche bag, "why are we showing this?" "ohh there was a flag" he sounded so pissed to be watching the jets tear it up on the 49ers on ST and he didnt say nothing about the call being shitty, he just kept making fun of Ihedigbos name, he kept saying it over and over like WTF kind of name is that? Why are we showing this, that comment made me want to punch him in the face.
and the no call when willis killed brad smith, if they suspended eric smith for hitting boldin, then willis should be gone next week too....the refs and our coaching staff has to go
I think this year it hit a new low and our Jets haven't even been the worst victims. And Goodell makes me sick with his bullshit. Last year he was alright, almost commendable even.. but this year, he's gone completely off the deep end.
