i think the word he was looking for was phantom, not ghost as in gholston. But it was a horibble call, and it changed the momentum. and then the Faneca call back to back just fucked up our pysche. We never recovered. course the defense just sucked balls anyways.
do you not remember all those whiny tennessee fans crying over two legitimate calls at the end of a game that they got dominated in? Ill admit I didnt like the way the san fransisco game was called today but the jets lost and deserved to with everything else aside. The whiny titans fans wouldnt stop crying at the end of the jets game about two stupid calls even though they got dominated all along.
guys we played bad but you are right i felt for 2 weeks ne tenn a couple breaks went are way but fuck we dont get breaks the holding penalty sucked really bad thejenkins was brutal keller hold and to not throw flag on smith hit time and time again i here on nfl network if any doubt throw flag
I stopped watching after the 9ers took a 14-7 lead because I knew we were going to lose at that point but what I want to know is what the fuck the refs were doing when the reciever from the 49ers slapped the ball into the endzone give SF their 1st TD? That is blatently illegal (Dave Casper Rule) and Mangini should have strangled somebody for missing it and at the very least should have challenged it.
Dear Ed: You've lost touch with the game. Please retire. Signed, Mackenzie. P.S. Please don't hurt me.
That was completely a turning point int the game.....do we score or do we end up with 1st and 20 and end up punting. It wouldnt bother me if there was any holding on the play but it wasnt even close. They showed the replay a couple of times and I still at this moment have no idea what they called. 44 wasnt doing anything wrong so it must have been somewhere else. OR, the refs blew ANOTHER call that had a huge impact on the game. Oh, and Mangini, HOW THE HELL CAN YOU NOT CHALLENGE A BOBBLED PASS THAT ENDED IN POINTS!?!?
The problem with the Jets the last 2 weeks is they seem to quit after questionable calls. (Cotch fumble, BS Leon holding call).
- there's a reason you were forced to take seat after the Denver game..... maybe you should take a leave, and spend some time in the gym until Shanahan and Mangini decide to chip in and buy you a Kmart gist certificate
It seemed like a throwback to the late '90s early 2000s with all the holding and IBitB penalties being called on special teams. Those used to be called on what seemed like half of all returns.
Deer Ed- U suk and make it even more likely that the NYJs are 0-1,000,000 in bringing a SB award home. JV sux 2. Anonyeemus
He's here because of all the garbage spewed at goTitans.com by a few of the members here. Now that you guys are having a losing streak it's kinda of funny to us... because we were basically told our team got to 10-0 by accident and that our team was exposed as being complete frauds... and that the Titans played their absolute best game week 12 and that they are only as good as the score board indicated. It was also said that the Titans haven't faced a "real" team yet... That beating Indianapolis on national TV didn't mean a thing, that beating the Ravens was a fluke, and that Green Bay, Chicago and Minnesota should have beat the Titans if it were not for officiating favoritism. It was also sworn that the Jets would win out because they were the best team in football... just ridiculous stuff. So when you go and pop off like that and also manage to let it slip where you live... expect a periodic visit. however, the Jets team the Titans faced that day played a superior game and executed brilliantly. Also, to anyone that wants to go on about the LEGITIMATE pass interference calls and the fans reactions... Remember how Vince Young got boo'ed in week 1? Well, If I am not liking a game because my team is getting BITCHMADE and some chump sub commits back to back pass interference I'm gonna boo his ass, the refs, the Jets, Bud Adams, and the moon and stars. The Titans were not going to win that game but those pass interference calls took away any tiny glimmer of hope. As fellow NFL fans, if you can't understand that I don't really know what else to say to you. Good luck next week getting it turned around against Buffalo. I will be watching the Jets with interest. Also the Chad Pennington story is kinda neat to watch. I can't believe that there are three (8-5) teams in the AFC East in a virtual tie. The Jets are in 1st by the thinnest of margins. Quite a departure from a few weeks ago.
I look at every game assuming the Jets are going to get F'd by the zebras. They didn't disappoint yesterday, but the Jets should not have been able to overcome, and they did not.
