With four weeks to go, I think it might be interesting to predict some of our players final stat lines for the regular season. It should be a nice change of pace from the OMG sky is falling, Or constant Playoff threads. Pick as many players as you want, give your own predicitions, try and post their lines as of now, and then then your predictions for them. give reasons if you want. here are some of our guys stat lines. Player rec. yards TD y/c Keller 40 460 3 11.5 Coles 55 615 6 11.2 Cotchery 58 692 4 11.9 Stuckey 24 266 3 11.1 Player Carries yards TD y/c Jones 233 1088 11 4.7 Washington 61 326 4 5.6 Player Comp Att C% yards TD INT Rating Favre 266 390 68.7 2,708 20 14 90.4 And thats just some Offensive guys! I'll post my predictions for players later. these stats are direct from NFL.com, and if someone wants to do some defensive guys stat lines, go right ahead! Good luck and happy predicting!
Well, I don't want to go through the math of calculating passer rating, YPC, carries and such, but here are a couple of gut feelings: I think Jones will break 1,500 yards on the ground. Leon will get five more touchdowns- one rushing, three receiving and a return. 30 more catches from Keller to give him 70. 10 of those catches will be on third down. Neither Cotch nor Coles breaks the 1,000 yard mark. Brad Smith runs for a touchdown. Stuckey has a hundred yard day. Chris Baker goes a full season without a touchdown. Tony Richardson doesn't. Favre throws 25 touchdowns, 20 interceptions. A hot dog vendor will suffer a fatal heart attack in the north upper deck of the Seahawks' stadium. His cart will be plundered. Vernon Gholston will log his first sack of the season with :07 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the Dolphins game, securing not only the victory but the division title. The impact will be brutal; Chad Pennington will be fine although slightly concussed. This highlight will be shown on ESPN around the clock. Gholston's fairy tale season-saving play will attract a barrage of media attention. The other AFC playoff teams, responding to repeat viewings of the highlight, will double team Gholston throughout the playoffs. Gholston will not log a single sack throughout the playoffs, but his draw of the double-team will free Jenkins and Ellis to wreak havoc during their Super Bowl run. Brett Favre will become emotional while accepting his Super Bowl MVP award and announce his retirement. He will re-sign with the Jets in late May. I will make love to Marissa Miller in the Tampa Bay owner's box during halftime of the Super Bowl. Bruce Springsteen will play "Born to Run." I will climax far too soon. David Harris will finish the season with two sacks and three forced fumbles.
that poor hot dog vendor! but I was going more along the lines of just flat out picking stats, like saying Jones will finish with a 5.1 ypc rating, and then say like or he will have 312 carries for 1583 yards. just random predicitions they dont have to correlate if you want. I just posted their current stat lines so people didnt say oh well i predict Favre will throw for 10,000 yards. not plausible or people who say I predict cotch will catch 52 passes this year, when he actually already has 58. stuff like that. Will be great to see the predictions, and then revisit the thread later on in the year to see who was closest.
Yeah, I'm at work right now. I just went out to pick up cigarettes. That's the most productive thing I've done since 7 AM.
I Think Keller could possibly reach 60 catches and go over 600 Yards receiving. Coles 70 Catches about 8 TD's Cotchery 75-80 Grabs but its gonna be close to 1000 YARDS... Thomas Jones is beasting this year behind the new O-Line I say around 300-310 Carries an 1400 Yards rushing 15 Rush TD's. An last but not least Brett Favre... throws for just over 3600 Yards 28 TD Passes 17 Interceptions... We go 11-5 and AFC East Champs. This shits pretty fun.
if Keller produces in the final four games as well as he did in his last 4 games, his final stats will be 67 catches for 773 yards. (He had 27 catches for 300+ yards the last four weeks)
Player rec. yards TD Keller 63 639 5 Coles 70 780 9 Cotchery 78 800 6 Stuckey 30 310 4 Player Carries yards TD y/c Jones 309 1488 15 4.8 Washington 88 500 5 5.7 Player Comp Att C% yards TD INT Rating Favre 350 500 70.0 3,628 26 18 93.7 I think this looks accurate for the end of the season.

TE coverage will still blow chunks.
