Yeah when STL loses they tend to get the shit knocked out of them whereas Detroit always stages that worthless 4th quarter rally to bring it within 20.
They have 1 win of more than 6 points against (fraudulent) Baltimore at home when Baltimore was ranked 14. They have beaten exactly 1 impressive team (Pittsburgh), have barely beaten Houston twice now and got smacked around by Green Bay and Chicago. Exactly what have they done that has been impressive aside from having big names?

Baltimore is back. I wouldn't have posted this today. Wait till tomorrow when you can do week 13. Jets @ #1 just looks silly now.
haha yeah you're probably right but I wanted it recorded for a record and actually I was going to post two weeks but forgot there was still one game to go.

4-8 San Diego ahead of 7-5 Miami, Denver, and Washington? Even with Miami and Denver beating San Diego heads up? I'm trying to figure out how that is possible. Denver and SD have played alot of common games together, with Denver doing better. Washington also has had a tougher schedule than San Diego, with 3 of their division rivals in your top 10.
Weekly comparison time. Our top 11 and bottom 9 match within one place. All together we have 25 slots that match within two places. There are 4 teams that differ by more than four games. One of those is affected by the infamous CLE ranking. Chicago - You have them at 15, I have them at 21. If they scored two points higher in my system they would be above the Pack at number 14. The middle of the rankings are all very close. Indy - You have them at 17, I have them at 11. I like my ranking better. Indy is going to do well the rest of the way. Toro^H^H^H^H Buffalo - You have them at 22, I have them at 16. I recently added special teams to my tracked stats. Special teams play is pulling up their rating. Washington - You have them at 23, I have them at 18. You would have them at 22 and we wouldn't be talking about them if you had Cleveland where they belong in the bottom eight. ---- As for San Diego, they score alot of points giving them a boost in rankings systems like this. Want to rank higher? Score more points. Miami has a -.3 ppg differential. Denver has -2.3 ppg and Washington has -1.2ppg. San Diego has +1.4 ppg. Points per game is also why Baltimore is ranking so high. Baltimore has +8.5 ppg over their opponent(s), even if they have been chopped liver so far.
The formula shows San Diego has lost by a combined 34 points in their 8 losses, only one having been by greater than one touchdown (9 point loss to then #10 Buffalo). 5 of the 8 losses have come on the road. The 3 games in their division have been by far their worst opponents so they have a relatively hard strength of schedule (4th hardest by win percentage). Miami has lost by a greater than average margin (12.8 point victory is average) 3 times to Arizona, Baltimore and New England. Aside from their beat down of New England they have won by no more than 9 points against Buffalo and Denver. They have played the 4th easiest schedule by win percentage. Denver has really had only 3 solid wins all season against, NYJ, TB and ATL and only one of those was by more than 4 points. They got beat down by Oakland, Kansas City and New England and otherwise have been pretty plain. San Diego lost to PIT by 1 and Denver beat CLE by 4 so that kinda shows the discrepancy between the two teams. Washington I expected to be better in my head but looking back, their games with the 3 largest win margins were all losses (NYG, PIT, NYG). Compared to SD, they have won by a combined 34 points... Also I think the loss to STL really hurt them. To sum up I only need to point to one stat. Of the 4 teams, only one has scored more points than their opponent. I'll let you guess which one.
I find that to be flat out interesting. San Diego has actually outscored their opponents, but is a measly 4-8, while 3 7-5 teams have been outscored? talk about intriuging

A) My file got corrupt so I had to rewrite a bunch of it from a previous save. It should be the same now but if there is anything that looks a little screwy let me know. B) I will finally submit on my rant about Baltimore. They are good. They have won 7 of their last 8 games and have won by an average of 20.7 points per game. They are flattening their opponents with the exception of the Giants
What about Dallas who lost to the team that is worse than the winless Lions?? JK St. Louis has lost games by 35, 28, 24, 17, 7, 21, 44, 19, 24, 4, 24. Yikes. They have lost their games by an average of 22.5 points! Detroit has only lost by 15 point on average.
