He's toast. There's a reason he got cut twice this year.

If someone goes down then maybe, but we don't need his broke down ass.

he couldn't hold tj or leons jockstrap at this point in his career. no way he wouldn't help this team at all.

Chatman was never replaced and I see Shawn Alexander as a security blanket just in case.Could he be had for a league minimum. Why the hell not.

We are making a Super Bowl run here and I like the idea of adding a few proven veterans.

If he accepts being the 3rd RB behind Jones and Washington and signs for league min then why not? He can be insurance incase of an injury. He'd be an upgrade over mason at least

i dont really think he is an upgrade over anyone. he is finished as a successful back in the nfl.

We picked up a rookie to replace him. Alexander is done. He's worth less than the rookie who hasn't played a down but has fresh legs.

Absolutely maybe contribute on special teams. Adding a player like Shawn Alexander couldnt hurt and hes a former MVP.

    No way.

Don't want to mess with the chemistry TJ, Leon, and the rest of the offense have going on.

If he wants to be the third RB, make league minimum, and get carries during garbage time then I dont see a problem with it. It's not like he's a bad guy or anything.

Exactly. No reason for it. If anything we draft a promising young back for next season. TJ and Leon are rocking it right now.

Besides, do you think the guy would really want to come here to play third string and get paid the minimum? Doesn't make sense to me.

    Let's leave well enough alone.
