I never understood that either. I say:

'Hey don't get any pinapple on my pizza, that tastes like shit'

'But it's HAWAIIAN pizza! How can you not like that?'

'They like Spam in Hawaii, too, jackass.'

WOrst 2 must be NE and MIA. They're both evil (probably making it obvious that Parcells is simultaneously god and lucifer). Parcell's really did bring us to respectability, and we even were able to avoid being dragged down by Herm.

We lost that game in '98 becasue the Broncos exposed us for having an OL which could pass block, but could NOT run block, and also that C-Mart was not a great big game back.

98 started it for me. The final straw was the last the Jets played at mile low stadium. There is this F-ing broncos asshole talking shit the entire game which was a 28-0 Jets loss. Then that weasel of a coach punches it in when he could have just taken a knee! Fuck the broncos and their shit talking fans.

Not to brag or anything, but all my hatreds are rational.

I was at the game and they showed Morten Anderson's missed kick as it happened on the big screen and I thought right then that this was our year.

But then we coughed up the ball every time we touched it (in the second half) and killed our dream season. I hated the Broncos before that, but after that I hated even more. (Doesn't help to live in Denver)

gosh, does no one remember this game? the big culprits were two rb imports that year... dave meggett and keith byars. meggett just flat out missed a kickoff and no one caught it allowing the broncos to recover. byars had a fumble in the scoring zone. alex van dyke had a fumble. the thing that still makes me most mad about that game is the meggett drop. we signed him just like 2 weeks before that to return kicks and he couldn't do something as simple as catch the freaking ball. it was 10-3 at the time and we were poised to run the ball from there on in. the super bowl was that close. agh.

A lot has happened with the NYJs since '98.

The other team can always get off a lucky punch early. You have to be ready for that.

The NYJs play with the same shaped ball as the other guys, and being superstitious about which way that pumpkin chooses to bounce is absurd.

They have to take the effing chances out of the game. One play at a time, grind that man across from you down. Do you job. This time, the next time better.

"We are always going to be better than they are, no matter what they think or do. Our job is to convince them of that as early in the game as we can."

Kerry Rhodes, foot on the neck.

Let the NYJs be known as the Killers.

"It's time to stand on the mountain and testify! We must bring the thunder and the plague, and let their rivers run with the blood of a thousand three and outs! We shall stand on the mount, a mile high, and bring the pain of a thousand months of redemptions and bitter pain to the sorry mange-riddled mares of the Colorado plains! The swamps of the Garden State shall quake with thunderous blood thirsty roar of the unrequited fans of these, our NY Jets! Go Jets!"

Ya wasn't it 5 fumbles in the second half alone? We beat ourselves that day.

The Dolphins were definitely ahead of the Pats on the hate meter when Marino was playing, but since then, basically this entire decade NE has clearly been arch enemy numero uno without a doubt. This I am certain of.

    Hate Meter
    1. NE (by a mile, no other team is close. All I have to say is Tom Brady and Bellichick)
    2. Maimi (peaked during Marino years with the fake spike, Duper, Clayton, Don Shula hate all of them with a passion) Wont watch CBS pre game because this douche bag Marino is part of the cast)
    3. Buff (especially in the J Kelly, A Reed, Thurmal underware Thomas days. Suprisingly not nearly as much angst towards Buff this decade)
    4. Oakland (battling these f bags all decade and it always seems to be in Oakland. I hate their gay fans and the fact that they go too far and actually hurt fans of opposing teams in their stadium)
    5. Indi (goes back to the old days when they were in our division, plus Manning has killed us numerous times on 4Q comebacks)
