Step right up. Be a man and admit you were preemptive with your drab conclusions about the Jets.

Apologize for polluting the optimists' vision with "glass half empty" posts.

    Are you 1969jets in disguise?

I thought we were done after the Chiefs game, but looking at the state of the team back then can you really blame me?

^ Nope can't blame you, but the whole idea behind changing the tradition is to do away with the negativity. Stay positive and good things happen.

Seriously, who cares what certain jet fans thought about the team earlier in the season? Everyone now is loving how the team is playing, so it doesn't really matter. We are all jet fans here.

Didn't like the Ty Law signing. Big fuck up...... how about when I said that the Jets were not getting Brett Favre.

Still hate Sutton but love what went on today.

Lets go to the predictions thread!!!

I'll own to the fact that I bashed the team after the Pats and Oakland losses but can you blame me?

If you'll admit you've been wrong for the last 40 or so years about your optimistic outlook, some people might admit they were wrong about this year.

Most people on here weren't screaming we suck the sky is falling, most people on here were outraged about the things the Jets were obviously doing wrong.

Even when we beat Kansas City, they were still doing those things wrong.

Since the Buffalo game, the Jets have gotten remarkably better, and aren't doing those things wrong anymore.

This is why the same people complaining then are happy now.

Get off your high horse and start enjoying it with the rest of us.

Yes, we actually can blame you. Anyone who "gives up" on a 4-3 team is silly. I mean my God, thats still above 0.500. They may not be pretty wins, but thats still a more than decent shot at the Playoffs. Especially when you throw in the fact that you have like 382234 Free Agent/New players that all need time to mesh together. To be 4-3 and throw in the towel... were you ever really fans, or just looking for an excuse to get excited for the upcoming NBA season? The NBA sucks my anus.

There will always be negativity. Just got to ignore it. Fans emotions and mindsets have nothing to do with the outcome of a game. Just the players. Go Jets! Go Favre!

Me? I got NOTHING to apologize for.

I been supporting the Jets through thick and thin this season. Which, I am sure, now irritates some people here, since I was right and they were wrong. But who cares about that stuff. Really, it's irrelevant. As Jets fans, we should all just be happy that the team is performing well. We are a long way from the playoffs, the championship game or the playoffs. So let's just stay positive and hope for the best.

    Let's go Jets!

It could be just my imagination, but it seems like the guy I quote in my sig completely disappeared the moment we beat the Patriots.

If my impression is correct, how weird. He hangs around all the time complaining the Jets aren't any good, and then when they become good ... he disappears.

Maybe it's just coincidence that I don't see his posts anymore.

Go away. I hate people like you. The Jets were playing poorly back then and deserved to be criticized.

Well said. Some of us want to see the team win, and really care for the team, so when it is doing stupid things it hurts us. Others believe that ignoring the bad will make it go away. Still others just want to annoy actual Jets fans, so they're never happy, win or loss. A true Jets fan is happy when the Jets win and doesn't care about anything else, and isn't happy when the Jets are losing.

There are plenty of optimistic fans, and there are plenty of critical fans. There is no problem with both, and that is how healthy debate can exist. But when you start attacking other posters and it has nothing to do with the team, but rather to just fuel your own ego, that's when you cross the line, and that's when you wind up getting attacked by both groups. Like 1969 who wound up getting banned.

Some people really need to grow up.

Not to stir the pot or anything...but blame is actually the pessimist thing...blame = gossip...aka bullshit to talk about, but mostly to pass the time until they seem resolved. Like...now.

The team better not sleep after this victory.
