Is this the kiss of death? I just heard him on the radio and I heard on Showtime he picked the Jets as well. He said he likes the cohesivness on both lines and he thinks the team has really matured since the Oakland game. I agree with him but it's scaring me that some of the national guys are starting to pick the Jets to win this weekend. It just sets us up for that SOJ talk should they not beat the Titans.
everyone is trying to pick the upset team against the Titans (not peter king, he has the Jets losing by 11 and giving up 31pts) its fine that he picked us. I want them to pick the Jets, let the respect flow in for this team. On paper, this game looks good for the Jets to win.... the new mentality must take hold - get the mind ready to beat the Titans, not in a homeristic mindless way, but in a ready to roll - kill em all kind of way....... let be ready for sunday.
Really Peter King picked the Titans to put up 31 points against us? If we lose 31-20 I'll take a voluntary week vacation from the board. I can't see how they score 31 points on this D.

Every once in a while, I see him in Kings in Upper Montclair. (I go there for Fresh squeezed o.j. from time to time...) It's nearly impossible to not ridicule him.
Yes but there are many factors that won't matter against the Titans. For starters we won't be up 24-6 at any point in the game and if we are the Titans won't be putting up 31 regardless. They just don't a high powered enough offense. if you ever play madden 09 or listen to him on nfl network...you'll know why I hate him...so irritating!
madden is one thing. That can make you hate anyone. But he is one of the better analysts out there. I'd rather listen to him than Carter, Sharpe, Marino, or even Boomer.
..because he knows his stuff. He's one of the few commentators that isn't constantly spewing garbage analyses, mind-numbing play-by-plays, and erroneous figures.
I've never played Madden, I don't seem to have the gene that causes people to play vid games past the age of 14. I also like Cris Collinsworth. Coincidence?
