It's just too funny reading this thread, and seeing them say they have to play against the opponents and the refs every week. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/10/181557-what-bs-call.html There's always two sides to a story I guess. OP even stated that Collingsworth is a Pats hater. unreal.
By the way, no clip or illegal block in the back called on that WR screen pass against the Pats. And I STILL don't think Moss should have been given that TD.
I like this post by Patsylicious: "This whole game had the feeling that no matter (what,) something was going to get in the way of us winning. Almost like the '05 Divisional playoffs @ mile high. When it happened 2 weeks ago I figured its out of our system but here we go again." Whaaaaaa...... Whaaaaaa....... I want my Mommie!
I'm tempted to get a screen name just to go raid that board. Alas, I have to actually get some work done today.
i like how it says pats fans are the best fans on earth. i guess thats true some of the pats fans date wayyyyyy back to 2001.
That's hilarious. I could also point to the kickoff after we went up 7 - 0. Had to rewind it a few times to confirm that the ball was ripped out before a whistle ever blew. NFLN cut to commercial right away and never brought it up. Shit happens, and it happens to everyone. I love that Pats fans of all people are bitching about calls being favorable to one team.
To be fair, the Pats got screwed on the defensive holding call at the end of the game, which was a big, big play. The officiating was pretty poor overall, I felt, and if the roles were reversed on this one we'd be bitching too.
It was a ticky tack call they probably could have let go, but you can see why it was called. The Jets have had there fair of those type of calls against them this year. Fuck the Pats.
whoever says the moss td was no good i dont know what to say to you. he had both feet down and had possession of the ball. its clear when they stop the replay that he has the ball in his hands with both feet down. his foot does eventually come off the ground but he already had both down. that looked like a great catch to me.
you're right. if barton held watson the way vrabel held(or not) keller, we'd be bitching and moaning about the very call. the funny thing is, the pats had most calls go their way for years, and for this holding, the pats fans complain as if the refs have been out to get them for years!!! what goes around comes around~
i thought it was an average catch most NFL receivers make with a sloppy defensive scheme. great catch belongs to Cotch.
Both catches were game changers.Though I do feel the 1st play drive with LC making the catch and keeping his feet in bounds was terrific.Without that catch we dont score on the 1st drive.
