I said that if its a 35 yard FG he was going to miss it.... it was 34 yard field goal. That extra yard was basically how much he made the kick by.

Good kick sir. Do more often.

I've been a supporter of Nugent up to this point but it's going to be pretty hard to cut Feeley especially out of concern that there may be lingering effects from Nugent's "injury".

As long as it made it thru the uprights, gotta give Feeley his props, his KO to the right pinned Hobbs, and he made all his kicks....

Jay Feely has earned the job for the rest of the season. The FO should put Nugent on IR at this point and let him play the rest of the season.

Feely earned his place as the starter the last two games. Sorry Nugent.

Yes, I think so. I have also pondered putting Nugent on IR so we could maybe bring back Miller or fill a roster spot with somebody else.

I don't know what Nuge makes, but I think he would free up some cap room for next year if we cut him and that may be good because we have to do something for Leon; Leon has earned it - we can not let the guy go into next year with a lame-duck contract.

Yeah me too, stifled whoops, although one did pop out at the end

Incidently, anyone who thinks that lick JUST made it, it was inside the post by about 4-5 ft, but the cam angle makes it lok closer.
I think Nooge is a good kicker, but I would like the pair of them to scrap over the job next year.

Great kick...new he would make it. I've never had much confidence in Nuge so I am hoping they release him and keep Feely. :jets::jets::jets::jets:

Nugent doesn't have a place on this team until Feeley f*cks up...

And he hasn't in a while...

Also, people fail to mention his awesome squib kick late in the game, that pinned the Pats behind their own 20, and gave our coverage team a legitimate chance to try to recover it... That was perfectly done...

Look at Feely's face after the kick, haha! I've been saying all along we need to keep Feeley out there. Stick with what works folks. Put Nugent on the PUP and open up a roster spot.

All I could do was replay the Pittsburgh game in my head over and over again. With my hands over my face looking through my fingers. I was screaming he's gonna hook it! I was mentally exhausted after that kick. HA ha but that game was the best one this year without a doubt. Makes up for the Raider game.
