ru you kidding me????? are you a true Jet Fan, was it really gonna be easy. When New England scored at end of 1/2 you know its a game, By the way Ty Law had Moss blanketed, blanketed great coverage it was a great throw great catch and if its ruled on field no catch they can't overturn it and we win in regulation, give everyone credit today.

All you ever do is bitch. Why do you even follow this team if you hate them so freaking much?

If you think that firing Mangini with a 7-3 record and first place in the division is the right move, you only show how clueless you are when it comes to football.

Take up knitting or something. I don't think football is your cup of tea, Don.

    Sheesh.

If we won the SB 2-0 by just having a safety and it was a bone-crushing game for the whole 60 minutes, but no other scoring, would you be irate?

I agree that we didn't look good, in fact we looked awful in the 3rd quarter ... BUT ... The other 3 quarters we looked damn good, we let them back in the game, but unlike "The Same 'ol JETS" we got our sh*t together and took it to them when we needed to and pulled out the win ... Maybe Mangini and the CS did not make adjustments as fast as we would have liked, but they did make adjustments enough to get a tough win in a hostile environment ... 1st PLACE ... That's all that needs saying

I have been a Jet fan for 40 years. This coaching staff is competing with Rich Kotite staff. They are a disgrace. If it wasn't for Brett making some plays with the TE the Pats would of beat us today. First the Pats are playing without at least 6 important players. Brady,Thomas,Harrison,Warren,Maroney, etc and others that got banged up. We did play the way we could for most of the first half and then Mangina went into his football shell again. Didn't we see this before. Somebody say Arizona in the second half. Some people want to blame these coordinators but I think they are puppets to Mangina. I think he has the final say because he is a control freak and doesn't trust them especially shotenheimer. Prevent defense never works! I have heard more announcers proclaim this just like Collingworth. All the great defenses in the past would of never played like this. I hate to bring this up but did anyone watch the super bowl last year. The patriots would of won that game if that last drive they had was against the prevent defense. And that was against Brady not a first year QB. They made Cassell look like Montana. It is a shame because the Jets have some special talented players and could be a team that could win this super bowl. This coaching staff is not super bowl material just like that San Diego Coach. I hope I am wrong! If not want to see Cowler here in the near future. Go Jets.

I have also been a Jets fan for 40 years, and if you think this coaching staff is comperable to Kotite and friends you don't have nearly the understanding of the game you think you do. Kotite went 4-12, then 1-15. Mangini went 10-6, 4-12, and now in his thrid season has them at 7-3 and first place in the division.

Seriosuly, if you keep comparing Mangini to Kotite, you'll only embarass yourself further.

Lost in this argument about whether Mangini is a good coach is a very important fact: The Patriots are a great team. That game was an absolute battle.

You can talk all day about how Brady is out and Thomas is out and that's fine but the fact of the matter is it doesn't matter if it's Brady, Cassell, or some other shmuck you've never heard of before - the Patriots will always succeed. When they put some dickhead kicker out there you've never heard of, you know he'll make the field goal. When they get a WR from another team that previously had stone hands, he suddenly becomes the go-to guy. They go through 3 RBs and still have a dominant running game. So let's not focus on names. The fact is the Patriots played a great game. Props to Cassell - that fucking nobody played a fantastic game.

As for putting Ty Law on Moss, it worked out great. Randy Moss did nothing all game until that last-second catch, which was amazing and undefendable unless he literally had a guy standing out of bounds. And we did blitz Cassell put the Pats o-line stuffed us or Cassell was able to escape and make a play happen (often with his feet cuz there were defenders behind him). And, blitz aside, Cassell got the ball off fast every time and always had his man open.

I don't see this game as the typical "we had it and then, in typical Jets fashion, we let it slip away." The game I watched was a complete battle at every position from beginning to end. We won in classic Patriots fashion - by the skin of our teeth. We won the most important game of the season. We beat the Patriots in Foxboro!

Did Kotite have all this talent! Did you ever play football! Seriously are you Mangina cousin. You telling me his football strategy was correct the way he handled the last two drives of the first half and at end of regulation. If so you must be insane. So basically you saying lets be aggressive some of the time but when we up in score lets put the pedal off the medal. Come on guy thats not football. Let me be honest nobody could be Kotite probably the worst football coach I ever seen but Mangina is not right now a good coach for this team. If you been watching football 40 years you know what good coaching is.

Anyone can "what if" any game to death if they want to. We did enough to win last night.

What do people expect, a cake walk from Belicheat when you're stepping on his neck? He totally changed everything his team was doing to break our rythm and guess what, we still wound up winning. There IS an excuse for the game being that close, a damned good one. He's the ultimate chameleon and we were able to overcome it.

Kudos to Mangini and the team for a great game.

geez, your telling me the TD at the end of 1/2 you thought we were just gonna step on there throat the 2nd half come on, its a 11 pt game at the 1/2 not 20 11- too think we were just gonna line up and run on them and run out the clock, it was not happening. We had to dig deep real deep, this team owns us and 20 minutes of great football was not gonna get them to lay down. I was disappointed the way we defended the last drive But you know what it took a highlight and highlight catch w one second left on a 4th down. Lets enjoy a nice Bye week like vacation and get fired up for Tenessee.
This coaching staff is growing and getting better and will take something from last night and learn in a "Win" not a loss.
