The playcalling was great in my book, especially in the first half.

On defense, the prevent was inexcusable as wel all know. But where was the blitz? Too many times, Cassel had two hours to throw.

The Pats staff is better than ours their better than any staff in the league. The killed us in adjustments but we hung in there in a very hostile environment found a way.

Bryan Thomas was fairly invisible today. A 3-4 NEEDS a 4 man rush to work or there is NO point. Gholston was supposed to be the missing ingredient.

it's like we think of collectively screwing over ourselves.

second half begins. what do we do??? SKETCHY, to say the least, playcalling on offense. What results is a string of 3 and outs by the O, leaving the defense on the field a very long time.

then what do we do when we're on D???? defense hardly ever makes the stops necessary for them to get themselves off the field. Seems we hardly ever rush more than 3 in the second half. cassel has ALL day to pick us apart. Matt effing Cassell man. but yeah, maybe we should rush more than 3 guys right??? i mean, yeah we could do that, but thing is, we're just so tired. why is that?? because the offense has been giving up 3 and outs and we've been on the field way too long......

lmaoo. basically we just screw ourselves. i'm glad with the win. but we really need to tighten up with that stuff and get our coaching together. i want a win in tennessee. if we gt that i'll completely forget about what happened tonight.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree... everyone in the world is on that staff like they are the 12 apostles of football. They are not... Our staff is just that bad at coaching in the game...

As much as I hate to say it the coaching staff got outcoached in the second half. Pats made successful adjustments on both sides of the ball coming out of the lockerroom. And how you don't hit Moss on that last play I don't understand. When you hit that guy in the mouth he's basically out of the play.

That team is loaded with players who know how to win, it's their field and the stakes were big for both teams. Mangini is a young guy and certainly is learning. He got schooled tonight but still we hung in there. I'm not sure what happened tonight isn't a good thing for this team.

I had no problem with the offensive side of the ball. The Jets had a great gameplan and outside of some execution issues in the 3rd quarter they played a flawless game on offense.

Conversely the defense was awful from the opening gun, going with the winning strategy of waiting for Cassell and the Pats to beat themselves. 400 yards later they're sitting in a prevent as the Patriots march down the field for the game tying touchdown with no time outs.

I'm happy with the win but I'm still concerned about our coaching staff.

Still, we got the W in such a vital game, so I'll leave it at that for now I guess.

thats the positive, and i'm proud of that, but the same problems were exploited that i've seen from Sutton since day one... that what upsets me - he hasn't learned anything

    Exactly.

They came in and roasted them in the first half.

The Pats adjusted, and Favre at one point seemed to get a little shaky there. Favre and the offense readjusted, and we pulled it out.

Thats football...at least between two good teams.

Sutton = Worthless. If everyone on this board and Cris Collinsworth says we need pressure, and he does the opposite...it should tell you something.

That something is Sutton sux major ass. He needs to go NOW

3rdand15Draw - welcome back. These are my thoughts exactly. No problem with the O calling - plenty of problems with the D calling.

Good point. Winning a game automatically voids all negatives that transpired throughout the game.

All of our problems are solved, hurrah!
