It sure would be nice to see that clown Hobbs get jacked up on the kickoff return to open the 2nd and fumble.
The safeties are going to shade towards the most dangerous receivers- Rhodes has been bracketed on Moss. Gaffney is not the threat we should have our one roaming S concerned with
Fair enough - but the result was essentially the same (without the minute and a half for the Jets to salvage some points after the Pats kick off.)
youre wrong. sending four is NOT considered a blitz. In a 3-4 defense youre still expected to send 4 guys, the offense just doesnt know which one. 5 people is considered a blitz
And still, my point is the CS should be able to recognize that Lowery is one of the weakest DB's so far. You don't think the Pats were watching film all week and licking their chops at seeing Lowery out there 1 on 1 with anyone? CS needs to give him some help or keep him on some flat zones.
Everyone relax. It's not like the Patriots weren't going to score a TD tonight. Lowrey is fine, and everything is going to be all right. The offense is clicking nicely, and except for that last drive, the defense is too. We're gonna beat these assholes tonight and take this division away from them.
Lowery should have been fine on Gaffney solo, he got beat. It happens. The receiver gets paid to play also.
Revis has shut down Moss the last 2 times we played the Patsies and this will be the 3rd. I actually expected this.
:up::jets:Everybody its time to take a deap breathe and relax. We are up by 11 our defense is going STRONG. Our Offense has a nice rythm. Yeah the Pats get the ball so what. This Jets team is nothing like what we have seen in the past. This is our time! You know you feel it. There is a different feel to this game and with this team. Now its time for us to believe in our team and watch them take it to the Patriots in the second half. Time for the JETS to claim sole possesion of the AFC EAST! ....LETS GO JETS!!!!!!! LETS go GANGGREEN!
Nobody's arguing that Lowery doesn't stink. He does- he has a TON of improving to do. But if he's bad enough that we need S help when he's defending Gaffney, we may as well take him off the field.
