If the Jets continue to feed Keller the ball down the middle, it will really open things up for Coles and Cotchery.

They got the big play last week, but it's taking a long time to work this 1st rounder into the rotation.

Keller has the goods and they need to take more advantage of him as a target and also as a threat/decoy.

The plays don't have to be long bombs--Keller can make yards after the catch. Just a throw once every 8 plays or so between the hashes will make the difference. The defensive coordinators will be in an impossible situation trying to figure out where to put their safeties...in the middle to watch Keller? Outside to help with Coles? Or in the box to stop Jones and Washington?

The Jets defense and special teams are starting to dominate. The Jets' offense has been efficient. I think turning Keller into a threat will take the O to the next level.

Keller REALLY impressed me last game. He has some good hands and jump pretty damn high. If this is any sign of things to come he should be huge for us.

Our specialteams is starting to turn around as well, mostly due to LW but did you notice that the Rams were able to keep him in check all day? Its the only thing they did well on Sunday was keep LW contained on kickoffs.

Kellers always had the amazing skills, I was extremely amped when we drafted him. I was expecting a WR at the time and when they said TE i literally thought in my head (this better be fuckin keller) and yes i love it.

ive been waiting for them to use him more. for some reason early on they were using baker and franks to try to drive the field and then keller would seldomly be used in the red zone. although baker has been solid again as always. id like to see them put baker and keller in there more and they finally are.

when the whole time it makes more sense to use keller to stretch the field or make some conversions on cross routes in a matchup issue vs a LB.

well they finally seem comfortable putting him in and it paid dividends. hopefully they use this as their cue to make him a consistent active target in this offense.

Leon had one return for 23 yards. So yea I gues thats in check. Then again, he only had two chances to get his hands on the ball. Is easy to keep someone in check when your not scoring and kicking to him I guess.

He still averaged 12.3 a punt return which is right around his season average. I don;t think they did anything special that day on special teams, or anywhere else on the feild.

Yeah but when your talking about LW you expect at least one big play out of him which he didnt have. Yes a 12.3 average is good on punts but I guess I am spoiled with what this kid can suddenly pull out of nowhere.

Agreed! He's the best player on the team. You can debate it all you want . . . you'll agree by the end of the season.

Maybe the best TE on the team, but that's about it. He seems like he can be a real good player for us but to say he's the best player on the team at this point seems like quite the stretch.

I think he may have been talking about Leon. Even then, he'd be wrong.

When Keller was drafted many Jet fans predicted he would be kryptonite to the Pats due to their "aging linebacker corps". Unfortunately for the Jets the Mayo pick has worked out, but the Pats LBs are still old and their secondary is weak this year, so Keller can still be the Pats killer he was predicted to be. Now, if you have a weak team followed by a thursday game, why not use the same game plan against both and get extra preparation in for the Pats game? Maybe the Jets did this and the reason Keller got so many passes thrown to him is that they were using the game plan they devised for the Pats. Something of a long shot, I know, but I still expect Keller to be thrown to a lot this game. Keller the Pats Killer.

yeah me too.... loved him from the combine to today. No more doubts about him from anyone anymore.

I predicted 7 catches, 94 yrds and a TD, if he doesn't drop it, i have a near perfect prediction.

HOLY SHIT - I found the link :http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=1009467&postcount=17

if he doesn't drop that pass, i would have been two catches off... thats fuckin scary.

Actually, I don't even think it's necessary to debate that. He's promising, and he's already somewhat good, but ... please.
