its been heavily speculated by the analysts. They say the zip isn't on the passes since the Cincy game.

I don't think you are paying attention to what is actually happening on the field. Chad Pennington is averaging 8.2 yards per attempt (tied for 4th in the league). Brett Favre is averaging 6.9 yards per attempt (tied for 18th in the league), even though Favre has a slightly higher completion percentage than Pennington.

Facts are facts. Brett Favre is dinking and dunking. Chad Pennington is not.

    You are simply clueless.

If you are opposing defensive coordinator against Pennington/Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams, are you telling me you will gameplan against Pennington at the cost of Ronnie Brown/Ricky Williams? Good gracious you are not actually calling any plays up there in the booth - you will kill any defense with that kind of idiocy.

I haven't heard anything, but I have noticed the zip isn't there. That would explain the recent interceptions and possibly the playcalling. :eek:hmy:

I think you are missing my point. You described Pennington as "dinking and dunking." He isn't doing that. Brett Favre is.

To give an example that may bother you less, Kurt Warner is also averaging 8.2 yards per pass, compared to Favre's 6.9. Do you think that is because all the defensive coordinators are gameplanning against Hightower instead of Warner and his receivers?

I can't believe no one else said anything about that ludicrous statement. Favre isn't even in the discussion for best QB of all time.

Now that is a ludicrous statement. You are kidding, right? There has never been a discussion that doesn't include him in the last few years. It's automatic when you own just about every QB record there is.

Well you're debating with the Chairman of the Chad/Herm Man-Love Federation. Junc looks only to his previous statements to see what he'll say next. It's not a matter of reality, it's a matter of HIS reality.

You truly don't understand the man do you?

    You just don't see it.

His name isn't Chad or Herm so he's at a loss. Remember in Risky Business when Tom is dancing around to Bob Seger? Junc does that while waving a white towel and pretending he's on the sideline.

Yeah, I know and it really showed through on that statement he made. Amazing.

It really is! He's not in the Junc discussion of greatest Qb of all time, because the people in Junc's head only know 1 QB....and is his name rhymes with "bad".

There's a difference from people who actually know and understand the game to those who JUST look at records. His records come from his incredible durability but he's not close to Montana, marino, Graham, Elway, Unitas or even Brady. The man had a grat run in the mid to late 90s but since then has been terrible in big games and in a weak division and conference has an awful record in the postseason.

I cannot believe people who follow football think Brett Favre could possibly be the best QB of all time, it's stunning. Is he a HOFer? Absolutely but there's no way he's in the discussion for best ever.

Montana, Marino, Elway and Unitas are all in the discussion as is Favre. Brady hasn't played long enough and Graham played before the forward pass was all that meaningful. More of a gimmick even though he threw it a lot. The pass as we know it today really started with Unitas.

Brady hasn't played long enough? He's played long enough to win 3 SBs and rescue a fading franchise. Favre does not belong in that group.

No, he hasn't played long enough. If he has a string of bad years or doesn't return from his knee injury he is nowhere near the discussion. Favre leads the group.

If Brady never plays agin or never regians his form he is still an all-time great. He's done enough at this point in his career. More great years would cement his status and possibily vault him to the top but he's in the discussion. Brady is BY FAR the best QB of this generation and that includes Manning and Favre.
