OG Brandon Moore, who spent his entire 10-year career with the New York Jets, has announced that he's retiring from football one day after agreeing on a 1-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets signed Moore in 2002 as an undrafted free agent. He spent that year on the practice squad and also played for the Scottish Claymores of NFL Europe. He then played in 3 games in 2003 and started in one before establishing himself as a starter in 2004.
Moore's best season was in 2011 when he was selected to his only Pro Bowl. He hasn't missed a game since 2005 and was graded as the fourth-best guard in the league last season by ProFootballFocus.
Moore was involved in the infamous "Butt Fumble" on Thanksgiving Night last season in a play in which QB Mark Sanchez slid into Moore, loosing the football, and the fumble was returned for a touchdown.
