The New York Jets have reportedly contacted OT Damien Woody, hoping to bring him back. Woody, who earlier stated that he would play either for the Gang Green or retire, suffered a torn achilles tendon in the playoffs against the Colts. He was then placed on injured reserve and later released. The Jets don't currently have a replacement for Woody, so bringing him back would be essential for the Jets O-line to remain one of the best in the league.
The Gang Green also signed several undrafted free agents:
TE Josh Baker, Northwest Missouri State
ILB Nick Bellore, Central Michigan
WR Mike Campbell, Temple
TE Collin Franklin, Iowa State
OLB Stafford Gatling, Ohio
SS Davon Morgan, Virginia Tech
OL Tom Ottaiano, Monmouth
CB Julian Posey, Ohio
WR Courtney Smith, South Alabama
OG Chris Stewart, Notre Dame
OG Zane Taylor, Utah
Additionally, there\'s a rumor that the Jets asked LB Calvin Pace and LB Bryan Thomas to restructure their contracts.
