The New York Jets concluded their mini camp today with a practice at the New Meadowlands Stadium. Around 12,000 fans reportedly attended this morning's session, which exceeds 7,000 that attended the Giants' practice earlier this week. NT Kris Jenkins, who missed most of last season due to injury, and disgruntled CB Darrelle Revis both participated in the practice session. Although Jenkins appeared to be held off in all contact drills, he did spend some time entertaining the fans.
QB Mark Sanchez was with the first team offense and looked pretty good, completing several nice passes to TE Dustin Keller, WR Braylon Edwards and WR Jerricho Cotchery. Keller looked very good, beating S Eric Smith one-on-one at least twice.
QB Kellen Clemens, on the other hand, played rather poorly. He threw an interception to CB Antonio Cromartie and also should have been sacked on a couple of occasions.
RB LaDainian Tomlinson broke through on a long run up the middle and caught a bunch of short passes.
Former Dolphin LB Jason Taylor drew cheers from the crowd and even signed autographs for a few fans.
