CB Darrelle Revis and C Nick Mangold made the 2009 NFL All-Pro team. LB David Harris was selected to the second NFL All-Pro team. While Tennessee RB Chris Johnson was the only player to make the first team unanimously (50 votes), Revis received 48 of 50 votes and is in the first team along with Packers CB Charles Woodson. Mangold's All-Pro selection basically means that the Jets have the best center in the entire league.
David Harris, who did not make the Pro Bowl squad, is deservingly in the second All-Pro team. Harris led the Jets' defense with 127 tackles (82 solo), 2 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles and career high 5.5 sacks.
Meanwhile, the Jets are preparing to face the San Diego Chargers this Sunday. The Gang Green feel pretty confident about their chances of running the ball well against the Bolts, who were allowing 117.8 yards per game on the ground during regular season. “If we don’t get 150 to 200 yards, we feel like it’s a failure,” said OT Damien Woody.
