OT Duane Brown, a 5-time Pro Bowler with Houston and Seattle, has agreed to sign a 2-year contract with the New York Jets. He's expected to replace OT Mekhi Becton who suffered a season-ending injury a few days ago.
Brown, 36, started in all 17 games for the Seahawks last season and was selected to the Pro Bowl.
He spent his entire NFL career playing at the left tackle, which means that OT George Fant, who can play on either side, will have to go back to the right tackle position.
