Former Jets QB Sam Darnold will get a chance to get revenge against his former team when the Gang Green open their season on September 12 against the Carolina Panthers. It will be first game for new Jets head coach Robert Saleh and potentially NFL debut for QB Zach Wilson.
The Jets selected Darnold at #3 overall in 2018 only to trade him to the Panthers for three draft picks last month. He threw for 8,097 yards, 45 TDs, 39 INTs in his three year career with the Gang Green.
The rest of the Jets schedule will be released later today.
