The New York Jets have reportedly agreed with LB Jarrad Davis on a 1-year $7M contract. Davis, 26, is a former Lions first round draft pick. He had three productive years in Detroit before falling out of favor with the Lions. Detroit declined the 5th year option of his contract in 2020, making him a free agent in 2021. He started in only 4 games last season, the worst of his NFL career.
Davis' best season was in 2018 when he recorded 100 tackles (73 solo), 6.0 sacks and 10 tackles for loss.
