The New York Jets addressed probably their biggest need earlier today by trading for CB Nate Hairston of the Indianapolis Colts. The Gang Green absolutely needed to upgrade their depth at the cornerback position, as they literally don't have anyone behind their starters. Hairston, a former 5th round pick, who started in 11 games for the Colts over the last two years might fit the bill.
Hairston, 25, has battled some injuries in his career, missing 5 games in the first two seasons in the league. He had 5 pass defenses, an interception and 2 sacks in 2017. Last season Hairston made 30 total tackles (25 solo).
In exchange for Hairston, the Jets will send a 2020 sixth-round pick to Indianapolis.
