The New York Jets have placed three veterans on their PUP (physically unable to perform) list, as they are set to begin camp later today. Offseason acquisition RB Stevan Ridley, OG Willie Colon and DT Kevin Vickerson will all begin camp on the sidelines. Ridley and Colon are recovering from knee injuries while Vickerson has a problem with his hamstring.
Surprisingly, CB Dee Milliner, who torn Achilles last October and was limited throughout the entire offseason program is not on the list. Milliner, a first round pick in 2013, has had an up and down career thus far limited by injuries. He missed 16 games in last two seasons.
Players on PUP can be removed from the list at any point during the preseason, but they must be placed on the list before the start of camp to be eligible to remain there during the regular season.
