PK Nick Folk is back with the New York Jets for at least another season. Folk, who was an unrestricted free agent, was re-signed to a 1-year deal. Folk joined the Jets in 2010 after spending the first three years of his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys. Last season he converted 21 of 27 field goal attempts, which was his highest percentage since joining the Gang Green.
The Jets also officially announced that they signed OG Willie Colon and NT Antonio Garay. Colon is expected to replace OG Brandon Moore as a starter on the offensive line, while Garay would serve as a replacement for DT Sione Pouha who was released earlier this week.
CB Darrelle Revis, meanwhile, received a $1M roster bonus, according to a clause in his contract, which activated if he was not cut or traded by business close on Saturday. The $1M counts against the Jets salary cap this year and is the first of three $1M bonuses the cornerback is due in the next couple of months. According to the contract, a workout bonus is due in June and a reporting bonus is due in July.
