Tebowmania will get in full swing on September 9th when the New York Jets host the Buffalo Bills in the season opener. Then, in Week 2, the Jets will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers. In Week 5 the Gang Green will host the Houston Texans in a Monday Night Football showdown. The next primetime game will come in Week 12 when the Jets host the Patriots on Thanksgiving Night.
The Gang Green have a difficult December schedule with three road games in four weeks. They travel to Tebow's hometown of Jacksonville on December 9th, then play a Monday night game on December 17th against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. One week later the Jets will host the Chargers on Sunday Night Football (subject to change) and follow with the season finale in Buffalo with the Biils.
Also, on November 18th the Jets will get to face their long-time offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer, who now holds the same position with the Saint Louis Rams. The Rams hired Schottenheimer in January after the Jets let him walk.
