The New York Jets have re-signed PK Nick Folk who converted only 76% of field goal attempts last year. The terms of the deal are unknown at this point, but hopefully this is a 1-year deal with no bonus, so the team can dump him anytime if a better option at kicker becomes available.
The Gang Green also reportedly showed interest in another former Jet, WR Jerricho Cotchery, who was rleeased before last season and signed a 1-year deal with the Steelers. Cotchery caught 16 passes for 237 yards, 2 TD last season.
In other news, OLB Jarrett Johnson, who was on the Jets' radar, signed a 4-year deal with the San Diego Chargers.
