Tomorrow's game against the New York Giants has been postponed till Monday due to the approaching hurricane Irene. The game was originally scheduled for 7pm, then moved to 2pm when it became obvious that the tri-state area will be hit by the hurricane late Saturday. But with the mass transit getting shut down at noon tomorrow, it was a smart choice to postpone the game till Monday.
The game will be broadcast on WNBC-TV and NFL Network.
Playing the game Monday night is not without issues, as both teams the Jets close out their preseason with Thursday night games, giving them just three days in between.
Tuesday, rosters must be trimmed from 90 to 80 players, giving the Jets' coaches only one day to assess their players to make the first round of cuts.
