OL Rob Turner broke his right leg in last night's preseason loss against the Houston Texans and will require surgery. Turner is a versatile player who can play basically every position on the offensive line, as well as tight end. He's expected to miss 8-10 weeks. The Jets now have pretty much no solid reliable back-ups on their offensive line and will definitely be in the market for more free agent help.
Turner was injured in the first quarter when Texans’ rookie J.J. Watt rolled up on him after beating OL Vlad Ducasse, who was absolutely atrocious last night.
Former Giants' C Shaun O'Hara is the most experienced center available on the free agent market and the Gang Green will most likely try to sign him to serve as C Nick Mangold's back-up.
