The New York Jets have announced that this year's training camp, if there's one, won't be held at SUNY Cortland. Instead, the team will hold training camp at their facility in Florham Park. "This was not an easy decision, but one we felt we needed to make in order to give us the best chance to win", said GM Mike Tannenbaum.
This is good news for the Jets fanbase in the tri-state area, as they won\'t have to travel to Upstate New York to see the Gang Green practice. On the other hand, the team's training complex has absolutely no bleachers and lacks parking space.
Meanwhile, WR/KR Brad Smith, who's going to become an unrestricted free agent once the lockout is over, has stated that he plans to explore the market. Smith caught four passes last season, but rushed 38 times for 299 yards (both career highs) and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.
